  1. 'The Flood' deserved to get to 1. One of their best. 'Love You More' is alright I guess for their standards but nothing to go wild about.
  2. Don't mind the 'Everybody Hurts' cover too much but it's nothing special at the same time.
  3. Rob Zombie posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
+5 Beat It +4 Billie Jean +3 Drop Dead +2 Lush Life +1 Midnight Sun -1 Dracula -2 Beaty and a Beat -3 Homewrecker -4 Rein Me In -5 FEVER DREAM (though it's an improvement on boredinary at least and ok ish).
  4. Not the worst X Factor ensemble for me but still nothing great. Probably be a couple of places higher but that's about it. Ellie's cover of 'Your Song' is lovely.
  5. Another Trash #1. This is going well so far!
  6. I quite enjoy '9 to 5' so I'm fine with it lasting though it'll probably run out now.
  7. Confirmed! Very excited to see what's been sent to this one. 2006 my fave year for the charts.
  8. Ciara. I like it but she has better.
  9. Doing one place better than it's appearance in the #99 survivor is Mariah Carey with her festive classic 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'. After being denied the Christmas #1 in 1994, it finally reached the top in 2020 and also went back to #1 in 2022 for another stint during the festive period. 7 Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You (9/26 votes) 8 Tom Novy Ft Michael Marshall - Your Body (9/28 votes) 9 Scanty Sandwhich - Because Of You (15/26 votes) 10 Tinchy Stryder - You're Not Alone (16/31 votes) Vote Your Least Fave
  10. Produced by Pharell and Chad Hugo of the Neptune's back in 2002.. 'Boys' was Britney Spears fifth single from her third album Britney and peaked at 7. It was released as part of the Austin Powers : In Goldmember. It was originally recorded by Janet Jackson but she had passed on it before it was offered to Britney. 5 Britney Spears - Boys (12/28 votes) 6 The Feeling - I Thought It Was Over (8/28 votes) 7 Elton John - I Want Love (7/24 votes) 8 Ashanti - Rock Wit U (Awww Baby) (9/29 votes) 9 Elvis Presley - Are You Lonesome Tonight? (16/26 votes) 10 Chipmunk Ft Talay Riley - Look For Me (15/29 votes) Vote Your Least Fave
  11. Congrats dandy*. An obvious winner but a good one. Thanks for hosting Chez, very informed and put together!
  12. Ah was doing so well for a long time but tbf it's fallen to where I expected the Bangles to be. Oh my at swapping 12 with Rich. A lovely sweet song that one is. 'TRAVELERS' I was going back and forth on to give my 12 too though so would be championing that to win from the top 3 but all are good! Edit: thanks Mango and Herbs for the 12's too.
  13. Yeah no complaints with that in last. Rubbish and I agree with you on 'Wavin Flag definitely deserving the 1 that week as don't care for 'Frisky' either.
  14. Hype!
  15. I'm still planning to finish off listening to Alanis this week to post my rate. Fortunately no strict deadline 🤭
  16. Didn't mind 'Teenage Superstar' too much in Bop but it's not one I'm going to go back and listen to outside of it. Didn't care for the Verbalicious track so a worthy last placer.
  17. 'Stay Another Day' is a fantastic song from East 17. Love it and the video. Also like 'Love Is All Around' too but I get the downside for it for others. I have some attachment to it through being one of the first songs I could clearly remember hearing as a 3 year old.
  18. No denying that was an iconic chart moment in time. It's an very inspired choice for the campaign against X Factor and a stomping tune. 'Bad Romance' is a deserving winner and another of Gaga's ultimate best. Been a good'un.
  19. Some classics popping up there in 'Total Esclipe Of The Heart' and 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made Like This)', 'Blue Monday', 'Africa' and 'Let's Dance'. 'Orchard Road' is okay too. I only know of that as my dad created an cd of some songs to play in the car in the 2000s. Though Leo has better of course.
  20. Great number one. Would say I prefer 'Always On My Mind' of the two but both classics from PSB. I think Bee Gees might be my 1 so glad to see that strong in the top 2. I think that's actually their best song period come to think of it. Elsewhere my other main faves from an otherwise good top 10 are Whitney and Madonna. Both superb. Thanks for presenting this Jester!
  21. 'Just Dance' is my fave of the 3 Gaga tracks here but all are fab. As slightly dated as it may be now it still goes off when I hear it and it was love from word go.
  22. Think I'll go for Mariah now just cause it's been in several times and it's May lol.
  23. German DJ Tom Novy shifts out with 'Your Body' which features American singer Michael Marshall. It peaked at 10 in 2005 and spent 11 weeks inside the top 40. Tom would chart once more the following year with 'Take It (Closing Time)' which charted at 31. 8 Tom Novy Ft Michael Marshall - Your Body (9/28 votes) 9 Scanty Sandwhich - Because Of You (15/26 votes) 10 Tinchy Stryder - You're Not Alone (16/31 votes) Vote Your Least Fave!
  24. Backstreet Boys again. 'I Thought It Was Over' was my clear fave here oops. (6 week number one for me but tbf probably wouldn't be as long it re-rereviewing it now, though still good. Funny to see it go out in 6th though).
  25. The Feeling march out in 6th place with their last top 40 single 'I Thought It Was Over' which also gave them a third top 10 hit in February 2008 peaking at 9. It was the lead single to be taken from the second album Join With Us. The track is said to be about an love affair taking places around the time of the Berlin Wall for many surpasses. 6 The Feeling - I Thought It Was Over (8/28 votes) 7 Elton John - I Want Love (7/24 votes) 8 Ashanti - Rock Wit U (Awww Baby) (9/29 votes) 9 Elvis Presley - Are You Lonesome Tonight? (16/26 votes) 10 Chipmunk Ft Talay Riley - Look For Me (15/29 votes) Vote Your Least Fave
