I do like 'Sexy Chick' but it's never been more than like a 6/10 so would be lower down for me.

Perfect Illusion

I actually remember not really liking 'Poker Face' when I first heard it in late 2008 but fortunately it clicked with me big time shortly thereafter and has remained fantastic ever since which makes that initial reaction seem strange in hindsight. Pop banger and of course an iconic video from Gaga.

Utter banger. I understand why others got sick of hearing it but not for me, didn't seem to tire of it unlike other songs that year.

Think I'll go for Backstreet Boys this time but I like that even.

Tom Novy.

DJ Richard Marshall aka Scanty Sandwhich is next to go with his one hit wonder 'Because Of You'. It peaked at number 3 in January 2000 and was signed to Norman Cook/Fatboy Slim's label Southern Fried. 'Because Of You' uses the sample of Michael Jackson's cover of 'Shoo-Be-Doo-Be-Doo-Da-Day' which was first recorded and released by Stevie Wonder. 9 Scanty Sandwhich - Because Of You (15/26 votes) 10 Tinchy Stryder - You're Not Alone (16/31 votes) Vote Your Least Fave!

Sir Elton John is out with 'I Want Love'. It was taken as the lead single from Elton's 26th album Songs From The West Coast and peaked at 9 in 2001. The video sees actor Robert Downey Jr. walking through Greystone Mansion lip-synching to the track. It took 16 shots and director Sam TaylorJohnson settled on the final shot as according to Elton, Downey Jr looked the most relaxed. Elton's song was used the following year for an Royal Mail advert. 7 Elton John - I Want Love (7/24 votes) 8 Ashanti - Rock Wit U (Awww Baby) (9/29 votes) 9 Elvis Presley - Are You Lonesome Tonight? (16/26 votes) 10 Chipmunk Ft Talay Riley - Look For Me (15/29 votes) Vote Your Least Fave!

'Bulletproof' is good and a much more tolerable listen than 'In For The Kill' which that in itself I didn't mind for a couple of listens but begun to irritate me a lot thereafter. 'Bonkers' never charted for me but I didn't mind it either. Come to appreciate it more nowadays too. 'I'm Not Alone' is definitely top tier Calvin and absolutely the right song to gift him his first #1 by himself.

bump for more votes!

More votes please!

'Billie Jean' a classic obviously (it's coming up in the next survivor too) 'Too Shy' and 'Electric Avenue' are both fab too. I knew of the remix before the original too but enjoy both equally!

Scanty Sandwhich for me. Kinda irritates me tbh. Wouldn't be against Mariah though either as it's been in several times now (probably will appear again too).

The final single taken off Tinchy Stryder's debut album Catch 22 gets shoved out right away. 'You're Not Alone' peaked at number 14 in Octobef of 2009 and interpolates the 1997 dance classic smash 'You're Not Alone' by by Olive. Olive claimed in an interview that they hoped Tinchy would return the favour and collaborate with them on an song for an upcoming album that to this day hasn't come to fruition. 10 Tinchy Stryder - You're Not Lone (16/31 votes)

In 8th place we have Ashanti with 'Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)'. It was the lead single off the R&B singers second album Chapter Ii and peaked at 7 in May 2003 becoming her fifth top 10 hit. In the US it peaked at number 2 and the video was nominated for best R&B music video at the MVA's 8 Ashanti - Rock Wit U (Awww Baby) (9/29 votes) 9 Elvis Presley - Are You Lonesome Tonight? (16/26 votes) 10 Chipmunk Ft Talay Riley - Look For Me (15/29 votes) Vote Your Least Fave!

Aw I really liked my entry so am a little sad that's my first dnq in months :( thanks anyone who pointed it though. Will have to check out Ella's other songs though! Shame for Rontvia too. Nice ballad that was. Pleased Yehesi did qualify as the nq predix for that was baffling to say the least!

Great start to the top 10. Fab song and the first of Lily's tracks I cared for particularly, as wasn't keen on her first era much. I liked the video for The Fear' also. Was always a big fan of the follow up too.

I do like 'Boom Boom Pow' and it's a cool switch up for BEP but it's by quite some way behind the other two for me.. so glad 'Meet Me Halfway' edged it out despite not making your top 10 still. Was definitely "happy" it got there over that dull Leona track too.

Kairi Sane has been released too. I'm actually rather puzzled by that one as she's been in the Iyo/Asuka storyline heavily the past 6 or 7 months and was looking to finally turn on Asuka :( Aleister Black leaving AEW to go back to WWE just to released in 364 days eep. Zelina gone with him too. Motor City Machine Guns another notable one gone too though they hadn't done much for a while now but still a veteran tag team who didn't get much in their time. Apollo Crews also gone after over a decade too.

Well in that case I've edited the thread title :P Will have to find a list of 2010's songs list for this now too lol.

'Baby' by Justin Bieber the next to be included in this thread with it's return today.

Love 'My Life Would Suck Without You' and it'd be higher for me. I would say 'Already Gone' was my overall fave from that era though.

'Run This Town' is solid though there are a few bits that also grate. 'When Love Takes Over' is a great dance tune and it was nice to see Kelly Rowland get another #1 too.
