Stomp stomp stomp! Though '5678' doesn't feel overrated to me either.

Oh Riser 😂 Yay for 3/3 on the last trio of answers. All fairly easy.

+5 9 to 5 +4.Choosin' Texas +3 Training Season +2 Man I Need +1 the cure -1 Loser -2 Rein Me In -3 Great Expectation -4 Boston -5 Movin To The Sun

Intriguing theme. Have already confirmed mine!

Edit : switched to The Freaks this time to save Vengas who don't deserve to go out for another one or two rounds yet with this fun bop.

Another Elvis re-release bows out early in the form of 'It's Now Or Never'. The song was Elvis's fifth UK #1 in 1960 where it spent 8 weeks at the top whilst having 5 in the US. It would return to #1 in February 2005. 9 Elvis Presley - It's Now Or Never 8/21 votes 10 Alistair Griffin - Bring It On / My Lover's Prayer 13/23 votes Vote Your Least Fave!

Shame for Meat Loaf. I'd probably have gone to him in a few rounds but I like both his and Celine's versions. Ne-Yo again.

Written by Jim Steinman and inspired by Wuthering Heights.. he wanted it to be the most passionate and romantic song he could create. The first version of the track was released in 1989 by girl group Pandora's Box and then famously by Celine Dion in 1996. Meat Loaf ultimately covered the track for his 9th album Bat Out Of Hell III : The Monster Is Loose and it peaked at 6 in October 2006 with Norwegian singer Marion Raven who was also a member of pop duo M2M before going solo. . Meat Loaf was evidently upset that he wasn't allowed to record it back in 1986 as it was according to him intended to be for one of his albums at that time but Steinman refused him saying it felt better suited for a female to sing it and it would lead to a legal dispute in which Steinman won. It would ultimately prove to be the final top 40 hit for the legendary musician but not without his classics returning in 2022 following his sad passing. 8 Meat Loaf Ft Marion Raven - It's All Coming Back To Me Now 8/23 votes 9 Elvis Presley - One Night / I Got Stung 12/22 votes 10 Jessica Simpson - I Wanna Love You Forever 14/31 votes Vote Your Least Fave

Love Sophie but not actually too fussed she's out with that one early!

I misread the jacket one as band rather than song oops. Don't think All Saints would've come to me anyway (and I heard 'Pure Shores' the other day too :') ) I looked that question and the Raye one after I submitted so oops. I did consider Ray Quinn as well for the latter 4 album question but seemed to recall he did release an album lol. The rest of these since last getting Olivia right I had no clue on.

'Animals' is decent but never been a huge one for me. Never cared for 'We Can't Stop'. It's pretty trashy which is probably the point but misses the spot for me. The other one is definitely the better one to come!

I did have a few L's in mind but happy I stuck with Lily. She did seem the most obvious for that one.

Would appear me and Scene were cut off the answers for 'Hallelujah' oops, or at least from my phone shot it does anyway. That was another easy to get one though as was listening to the chart every week then :P

That one I should've known. I saw the answer after i submitted and was like well duh lol.

Yep Eva was pretty easy for me too.

and just as I say that... finally 😁 that's one of the first ones I put down.

Oh Cranberries. No idea why that one didn't hit me lol. I'm hopeful I'll get something soon 🙏

That is a pretty surprisingly low placing for 'Wake Me Up'. Would be my #1 or #2 here. 'Hey Brother' is also very good too. Avicii at his best for this 2 or so year period!

'Kiss..' is a lot of fun like a lot of Vengas songs. Hopefully it can stay in a bit longer at least.

Fame Academy 2 runner up Alistair Griffin finds himself first on the chopping block with 'Bring It On' and the double A side 'My Lover's Prayer' with one of the judges on the show in Bee Gee Robin Gibb. It would chart at 5 in January 2004. He'd follow up with a top 20 in 'You and Me (Tonight)' and then in 2010 would chart at 38 with 'Just Drive'. 10 Alistair Griffin - Bring It On / My Lover's Prayer 13/23 votes Vote Your Least Fave!

Elvis is out with 'One Night' and 'I Got Stung'. The former was recorded by Smiley Lewis in 1956. In 2005 as part of the re-releases it had become the 1000th #1 in the UK as well as topping the chart back in 1959. 9 Elvis Presley - One Night / I Got Stung 12/22 votes 10 Jessica Simpson - I Wanna Love You Forever 14/31 votes Vote Your Least Fave

Sent but lots unanswered sadly as my mind was drawing blank oops. Even several of those I put answers I'm expecting to be terribly wrong too lol. Good concept for a quiz though!

'Jolene' is the signature hit for her I'd say as well. I didn't hear '9 to 5' too much as a kid though so could be different if I did hear it a lot then.
