  2. In no order the first two through... j-_1-uJ6Ml4?si=ps7-2-pcIflBpKtr nlR0MkrRklg?si=w9zRvkWW7noz-pJH

  4. Will post some results now and some later as heading out in a sec. There is a couple of surprises in the 10 that made it I think which makes things a little more interesting!
  5. Time for the Nugget to go now. Seems we're on for a Robbie/Jamelia final 2 and am more than content with that!
  6. Do like it but it's Jamiroquai for me first from this 10. 'What If' deserves to last one round at least imo but a strong selection of winners nonetheless.
  7. Bastille again and going for Lily now!
  8. Matched Scenes thread with 23 Votes now :cheer: Two had nominated 'Santa Baby' in their votes, one changed and the other I'm waiting on but if they don't get back I'll just accept 4 votes instead of 5 from them!
  9. 'Go Now' is great. Good pick for ROTW!
  10. Last day has now arrived if anyone wants to post 5 of their faves of the 10's ^_^
  11. An major improvement on the last couple of Christmas charts for me. This was at the point I started getting back into following the charts after dropping off in 03. My sister bought the Shayne track and it was the first X Factor I watched so very memorable moment in time. Crazy Frog and the Westlife tracks were dreadful but were we expecting anything less lol. Songs I love/like 1. Shayne Ward - That's My Goal (NEW) 3. The Pogues feat Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York (Re-entry) 7. Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu (3) 8. Madonna - Hung Up (4) 9. Girls Aloud - See The Day (NEW) (I know this isn't that well liked but I didn't mind it). 10. Coldplay - Talk (NEW) (a great track from them and nice to see they just about made the Christmas top 10). 11. James Blunt - Goodbye My Lover (NEW) 12. Sugababes - Ugly (6) 13. Black Eyed Peas - My Humps (7) 14. Simon Webbe - No Worries (12) 16. Robbie Williams - Advertising Space (8) (ah kept thinking this was top 10 at Christmas but that was the week before). 17. Kelly Clarkson - Because of You (13) 18. DHT feat Edmee - Listen To Your Heart (14) 19. Mariah Carey - Don't Forget About Us (11) (not sure I know this one) 20. Gorillaz - Dirty Harry (16) All this music channel nostalgia with a lot of these on regular rotation  Water Babies of course a good entry lower down now I know what it is and the Mary J Blige song is decent too. Will check a few others later, will have heard the Brian Kennedy song in the charts though as that went top 5 in the new year!
  12. Oops tbh I never do well with rock most of the time so should be expected I guess.
  13. Bastille and Taken By Trees.
  14. Will also extend the deadline for this to somewhen in the evening on Wednesday.
  15. Well at least the qualified bit came true at least :P thanks for the 18 Wardy. Not quite electrifying for you in the end though 😌 -- 28th isn't what we hoped for but not ending up in the bottom 10 in the final is always a plus! Thanks to all who voted for Beyond The Black!
  16. Zanmatony and Lookylion don't deserve bottom 10 :( Well done Kath and fab to see Ajanaeda get their biggest hit too :cheer: also chuffed to see my 18 in Macromia make top 10 as well as Danæviia as I did peg that to do well too. 28th is a bit disappointing but it had hardly any hype so wasn't expecting an awful lot. A surprise snub from Séyetana though :o at least it's not bottom 10 I suppose. Also it was one Rich shared to me months back so thanks for the recommendation Rich ^_^ my 3rd most streamed of the year too x Thanks for hosting Chez!
  17. Why thank you to those for the points and especially Zanmatony for their gracious 18 :yahoo:
  18. Well this is going.. not. well. Not sure what happened there Scene after you cemented in my national thread too
  19. 'Beat It' again but Jay Sean is my next pick so would be just as happy if that goes. I know it'll be poor 'All or Nothing' but am glad that survived another round and has matched the same place as 'Liquid Dreams' which is way worse.
  20. Very briefly stepping back in as Julian's having some Internet issues in Cambodia! Daft Punk to win from these two but Sash! would have been my preferred other finalist, very close.
  21. “Raindrops (Encore Une Fois)” was the 10th and final Top 10 hit for DJ Sash! and reached #9 in October 2008. It was a mashup of the debut hit for Sash!: “Encore Une Fois” from 1997, and “Raindrops” by production group Stunt which had reached #51 a couple of years earlier. 3rd: Sash! featuring Stunt - Raindrops (Encore Une Fois) 16/34 votes 47% 4th: Jennifer Lopez - Jenny From The Block 15/30 votes (50%) 5th: Ciara featuring Ludacris - Oh 17/32 votes (53%) 6th: Madonna - American Life 15/33 votes (45%) 7th: Snow Patrol - Signal Fire 12/36 votes (33%) 8th: Take That - Greatest Day 15/33 votes (45%) 9th: Busted - Air Hostess 16/36 votes (44%) 10th: Gordon Haskell - How Wonderful You Are 15/31 votes (48%)
  22. Shakin Stevens Wizzard Kelly Clarkson Mariah Carey Nat King Cole Brenda Lee The Pogues The Darkness East 17 Andy Williams Though I'd put Greg Lake in place of Andy and in the middle somewhere.
  23. Roba. posted a post in a topic in 20th Century Retro
98 and 99. Yes there were the rise of boybands etc but for me there was a lot of great nostalgia.
  24. Yep fantastic. Hopefully we break the 300 posts before Christmas again which should be doable!
