  2. Didnt know 'Take Me Home' was originally a Cher song!! That gets my vote though. I do like some of Adam's material but not feeling that cover oops.
  3. FOB lasted far too long for my liking x Pretty good top 2 but have gone for S Club - it's a lush ballad for me.
  4. Jay Sean. McFly still shouldn't go yet. Pretty solid track that one is.

  10. Week 46 'I'm Gonna Getcha Good' is a bop, liked it lots then and bought it and still enjoy it very much now. 'Put The Needle On It' and 'Work It' are decent too but both have better. Another carefree and fun single from Sophie. Shame to see it with a low score. Liking the guitar stuff on the QOTSA but not massively into the song overall. Darren Hayes is a miss for me as well. Even when playing the album of his in the car it's pretty drab. 'In This World' is really good. 'Out Of My Heart' is pleasant but 'Back Here' is still the best I know of theirs. 'Machine' is sounding alright. Week 47 'Stronger' is one of Sugababes best ballads, not as crazy on 'Angels With Dirty Faces' but it's ok. 'The Scientist', 'Objection (Tango)' and 'Wonderboy' are among my main other faves here. 'Dirrty' a classic but not a Christina fave for me and 'Come Into My World' is solid but not essential Kylie either. 'The Game of Love' is nothing amazing but still good enough and Rammstein's is perfectly serviceable industrial metal.
  11. Week 44 'Zephyr Song' is my top fave here. Another great track from the RHCP. 'One Love' is fun and 'Electrical Storm' is alright. Wasn't keen on 'Like I Love You' at the time but in reflection is a good introduction for Justin. I bought that Calling track as well as WYWG but listening to it again now I'm not sure I'm mad on it oops. 'Hanging Around', 'Shiny Disco Balls' and 'The Earthshaker' are all good discoveries too especially the latter which I love how it builds and the middle switchup bit is especially fab. Week 45 'Heaven' forever a classic dance cover but I like the original a lot too. Whitney's sounds quite good too, wouldn't surprise me if this was a J Lo reject as the melody in the production reminds me of 'Love Don't Cost A Thing' a fair bit. 'Because The Night' cover is pretty solid too but I get why it might come across naff. Agree on a lot of crap in here though and Tom Jones capping it off as the worst so definitely on the same page there. Utter tripe.
  12. 'Downtown' for me as well.

  14. Moving to 'Breaking Free' this time.
  15. #114 1st Blink 182 - I Miss You (21/33 Votes) Blink 182 take the win with 'I Miss You' which peaked at 8 in early 2004. The second single to be taken off their self titled 5th album. The video specifically being another Kerrang staple of the time with it being shot in a 1930's style horror house and Mark Hoppus playing double bass inspired by The Cure's Phil Thornally in the song 'Lovecats'. It was also directed by Jonas Åkerlund who was behind the videos for 'Beautiful' by Christina Aguilera and 'Smack My Bitch Up' by The Prodigy. 2nd deamau5 & Kaskade - I Remember (12/33 Votes) Meanwhile Canadian electronic music composer deadmau5 and American DJ Kaskade with Helen Tibby on uncredited vocals lands in 2nd place with 'I Remember'. It peaked at 14 in May 2009. The video for the track features actors Stephen Graham, Warren Brown, Aston Kelly (Graham's brother), Greg Costello and Corrie actress Emma Edmonson. -- 3rd: Basement Jaxx - Oh My Gosh 17/33 votes (52%) 4th: Razorlight - America 15/30 votes (50%) 5th: Arctic Monkeys - Leave Before The Lights Come On 14/31 votes (45%) 6th: Mis-Teeq - B With Me 9/28 votes (31%) 7th: Javine - Real Things 8/29 votes (28%) 8th: Pink - There You Go 8/30 votes (27%) 9th: Steps - Here And Now / You’ll Be Sorry 14/30 votes (47%) 10th: Basshunter - Angel In The Night 14/33 votes (42%)
  16. I've been following this channels videos for a little bit now. Surprises me as to how much unknown stuff gets in. Wouldn't have had Travis down as appearing in the 2001 list at all but nice to see. Fab stuff higher up and both of those list toppers from 00 and 01 are great.

  18. Voted. At first struggled to find 10 but on another listen just now managed to find 15 I liked in the end!
  19. 175 After a contest hiatus we return back with Openside and 'I Feel Nothing' which is a former PJSC Winner. The band isn't active anymore but this stuck out as a breezy summer pop tune all things considered and so are hoping for a Q at the least!
  20. 'Bohemian Like You' Ftw!
  21. FOB. I like 'Wire To Wire' as well and all the songs they did after the meh 'In The Morning' for that matter.
  22. Natalie.
  23. will post my ranking a bit later when I go over it again but a really solid album this was overall. Good turnout with 5 too, thanks for coming along!
  24. starting off with the obvious tune '4ever'. Still sounds good.
