BBC Radio 1, MTV and Durex are backing a new safer sex campaign that aims to encourage people to be more open about sex. BareAll 07, which launches today (July 24), will feature celebrities sharing their experiences and asking viewers and listeners to do the same. The campaign, which has been created by digital telecoms company Spinvox, features celebrity DJs Tim Westwood and Sarah Cox and Girls Aloud and will also include six weekly news bulletins on MTV that will cover issues such as virginity and sexuality. MTV will also support the initiative through on-air promotions. MTV viewers will be asked to recount their own experiences; these will then be automatically converted from voice messages to text by SpinVox and posted on www.bareall07.co.uk. Messages appear online anonymously and will be fully moderated before being posted on the site. SpinVox converts any voice message to text and delivers it to any screen - mobile, computer, BlackBerry or PDA. Last month, it appointed former MTV UK & Ireland vice-president of marketing James Scroggs as vice-president of consumer business.
