Star says Nicola is Posh's second favourite bandmate - after her Cheryl Tweedy has revealed that Posh loves Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts - because she never smiles. Cheryl, 23, has become friendly with Posh, 33, since she married footballer Ashley Cole, 26, last year. 'Victoria told me Nicola is her favourite. No, scrap that, I'm her favourite!' she laughs. 'Nicola is her second favourite. But she did say to me, "I love the ginger one in your band because she never smiles."' But, contrary to popular perception, Cheryl reveals that VB actually grins all the time in person. 'Victoria never stops smiling!' she tells Glamour magazine. 'One of her best qualities is her humour. It p***es me off she gets labelled as miserable - but she doesn't take the criticism to heart. 'If I took the amount of s**t she's taken I'd go out of my mind.'

GIRLS ALOUD showed their cheeky sides as they kicked off their Greatest Hits Tour with an eye-popping show. And it wasn’t just their skimpy black lycra outfits that left fans feeling Something Kinda Ooooh at Monday’s gig. The foxy fivesome – CHERYL COLE, SARAH HARDING, NICOLA ROBERTS, KIMBERLEY WALSH and NADINE COYLE – successfully combined solid vocals with tough dance routines that would challenge even SHAKIRA. Emerging from the ceiling on a moving platform and wearing military uniforms and thigh-high boots, the band belted out hits including Walk This Way, Biology and Sound Of The Underground. Highlights included a reggae-style version of Life Got Cold, a cover of TIFFANY hit I Think We’re Alone Now and ballad A Whole Lotta History, which saw the girls suspended on a giant swing. A cheesy medley of Dirty Dancing hits got the biggest cheers of the evening. Cheryl was close to tears as she thanked fans for their incredible reception in her home town. She said: “You Geordies are great. I knew I could rely on you. Thanks for making my dreams come true.” There have been rumours Girls Aloud will split when the 15-date UK tour ends. But with a new album confirmed for later this year, I reckon they’re just reaching their peak.

Girls Aloud did us proud Girls Aloud, Metro Radio Arena I love Girls Aloud. And last night's performance only put fuel to the fire of my secret fantasies to become a member. The five girls, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and the North-East's Cheryl Cole (nee Tweedy) burst on stage for the first night of their UK tour. They trounced their way through a back catalogue of pop-perfect greatest hits - Sound of the Underground, No Good Advice, Jump, The Show and of course Biology to name but a few. But the highlight of my evening was when two worlds of greatness collided - Girls Aloud singing the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing. Yes, they warbled their way through Do you Love me, She's Like the Wind and I've Had the Time of my Life - `the lift' included. The girls weren't looking too shabby either. I have it on good authority that Cheryl was looking particularly on form, whereas my favourite was Nadine. And that's some achievement considering the whole Jesse Metcalfe saga. They put their all into tight dance routines, there were no dodgy notes and they changed their way through the cutest showgirlesque outfits imaginable. Anyway out of 10 you already know what I would give them. All I can say is that the rest of the UK is in for a treat.

SHOWBIZ needs more CHERYL TWEEDYs. The GIRLS ALOUD beauty jots down the names of celebs who have **** her off and waits patiently to get her revenge. Cheryl said: “I’ve got a hit list. DANE BOWERS is on it.” Sounds good to me so far. The star revealed her list as she gave her pop rivals a proper **** in a right old TV bitchfest with fiery chef GORDON RAMSAY. She brands LILY ALLEN a “chick with a d***” while appearing sweet and lovely — genius. Gordon — not averse to taking his peers down a peg or two — read out abuse aimed at the Girls Aloud singer by fellow celebs to wind her up. It works a treat and the results will be broadcast on his F Word show on Tuesday — sounds like must-see TV to me. Another of Cheryl’s targets is her arch enemy CHARLOTTE CHURCH. The pair have been feuding for months and never miss an opportunity to have a go at each other. Cheeky Gordon reminded Cheryl — wife of Chelsea footballer ASHLEY COLE — of one of Charlotte’s nasty jibes when she said: “I haven’t resorted to wearing s*** skirts and dating a footballer to get into the charts”. Not to be outdone, Cheryl snaps back: “She’s either talking s**** or talking about someone else. A******.” Now I know chefs have to be good at stirring — but this is great stuff from Gordon. Gobby singer Lily Allen doesn’t escape the devastating duo either. Gordon reminds Cheryl that Lily once said: “Nobody really wants to look like Cheryl — they just think they do.” Cheryl bites back: “Because everyone wants to look like her. Chick with a d***.” Brilliant. But one celeb who escapes Cheryl’s acid tongue is Mr Nasty himself, SIMON COWELL. Despite Cowell calling her a “c**p Geordie” and questioning her selection to Girls Aloud, she refuses to say a bad word about the influential media and music mogul. Bitchy and clever. No wonder every talent show in the land — including Simon’s programmes — wants to sign her up as a judge.

Singer says making love is more important than money Cheryl Cole has revealed she thinks there's nothing more important than sex with hubby Ashley Cole. She wants her man to be loved-up and content. The Girls Aloud babe, who married footie player Ashley, 26, last year, says keeping him happy between the sheets is No 1 priority. 'Sex with Ashley is more important to me than all the money in the world,' she explains. 'Sex makes me happy, money doesn't. And Ashley makes me feel sexy, he's fantastic.' The singer also reveals the pair plan on having kids in the near future. 'We definitely want children in the next couple of years,' she tells Sunday magazine, 'but I'm in no rush.
