Girls Aloud babe Nadine Coyle will tie the knot with Jesse Metcalfe this summer – after helping him conquer his demons.

And the leggy beauty has just flown out to the States to “be there†when his recovery is complete this week.

Nadine, 21, was devastated last month when Desperate Housewives star Jesse went off the rails.

The actor, who had already shown signs of having a booze problem, went on a four-day bender in Los Angeles.

It culminated in him checking himself into a top Californian rehab clinic.

Nadine, who was in London at the time, was at first denied daily contact with him while he was put through a punishing “tough love†rehab regime.

But the sexy singer has now told pals they are “closer than ever†following emotional heart-to-hearts on the phone.

Friends say they’ve been spending “hours and hours†chatting to one another and that they’re expecting them to announce a wedding as soon as Jesse, 28, leaves the clinic.

Metcalfe shot to fame for his role as bed-hopping gardener John Rowlands in Desperate Housewives, is expected to leave rehab in the next few days.

A close friend of Nadine said: “It’s been really tough on Nadine but thankfully, everything seems great now.

“She was absolutely gutted to begin with but she recognised that Jesse

needed help.

“And, fair play to Jesse, he took that first hard step of going into rehab.

“Nadine has been there for him ever since. They’ve been on the phone every day for the past week. And now you can hardly get them off it!

“Jesse is much, much cheerier and because Nadine’s such a positive person she’s really helped to lift him.

“They’re both mad about one another and they can’t wait to see each other again. They’d talked about getting married a couple of months ago and everyone is expecting an announcement pretty soon.

“Jesse should be out very shortly – and Nadine will be there waiting.

“All the signs are that the wedding is going to be a lot sooner than anyone had guessed before.â€

Jesse’s four-day booze bender at Hollywood’s Hotel Mondrian culminated in him being banned from the premises last month.

According to a pal, he said his first few days in the Promises rehab facility – which has also helped Robbie Williams and Britney Spears – were “really toughâ€.

But the friend said it had done him “the world of good†and that he was looking forward to getting out and seeing Nadine.

The friend said: “Nadine has been brilliant for Jesse. She could see that he was having problems and urged him to sort it out, which he has.

“The first few days were punishing but I suppose they have to be. He can’t wait to get out now and see Nadine.

“It’s amazing but they are closer than ever before. Nadine really can’t wait to see him and he can’t wait to see her.

“They are going to lock themselves away in LA and have a sizzling reunion.

“The enforced break in their relationship has shown them that they are mad for each other.â€

The couple first began dating just over a year ago. Nadine joked during a TV interview that Jesse was her ideal man and soon afterwards he called her and they began seeing one another.

Since then Nadine’s family have met him several times.

And, despite his recent problems, her dad Niall has given his future son-in-law the thumbs-up.

He said: “He’s a real gentleman. I can’t fault the guy for the way he treats Nadine.â€

GIRLS Aloud stunner Kimberley Walsh had her drink spiked before she collapsed in a nightclub, her bandmate claims.

The singer was in such a state her boyfriend had to carry her out of London celeb haunt Embassy.

Bandmate Sarah Harding, 25, claims it was down to more than drink.

She said: “Her drink was spiked. I’ve never seen her like that.

“This time she was very unwell — it was totally out of character.â€

Kimberley, 25, keeled over on the dance floor and was carried to a car by boyfriend Justin Scott on March 10.

Sarah — a nominee for The Sun’s caner of the year — said Kimberley was the victim of a ‘date-****’ drug like Rohypnol.

WHO else but BEYONCE could top a poll of the best booty shakers of 2007?

The Bootylicious singer shimmied her way effortlessly into the top spot in a vote for Kiss Music TV.

One thousand people pondered the vital issue, no doubt painstakingly pouring over hours of footage before voting.

Some poor soul even had to watch all of Beyonce's videos and work out the exact amount of time spent wiggling her booty in each.

Check On It scored highest, with an incredible one minute and 33 seconds of butt shaking.

Also in the top five were SHAKIRA, KYLIE, our own CHERYL COLE and ladies' favourite RICKY MARTIN.
