Martine McCutcheon - Say I'm Not Alone
It's just fantastic that Martine is back recording music, after some poor health in recent years. I heard some of the tracks when Ken Bruce featured the new album as Album of the Week on Radio 2 and there were some catchy ones among them.

Movie for a stag night
"Beerfest" would probably strike the right tone, focusing as it does on a beer related international tournament.

Strictly Come Dancing 2017
The "performers" (singers / actors, so I'm thinking Alexandra, Mollie, Aston, Davood, Gemma, Chizzy, Joe, Brian) usually have an advantage when it comes to dancing - some of them will have had previous experience of choreography, playing characters etc. It'll be interesting to see whether this plays out in the series or not!

Body Language: Underrated Gem or Poor Follow-up?
I just think that it was a change of direction - I liked the electronic stylings, different but just another chapter in an illustrious career. More lounge bar than dance floor.

EastEnders
Maybe take out the whole regular cast, and give more prominence to the extras - Tracey, Winston, the young bloke on the market in the black hat. Call it Eastextras.

Cassettes
I still have hundreds of cassettes which I play in my car regularly, although I find as time goes by they start to break with increasing regularity (latest casualty was yesterday - Aerosmith's "Nine Lives" from 1997 - I was just thinking how it was 20 years old, when SNAAAPPPP) :o

Coronation Street
I think there's some cold water required right here on the board! lol :D

Shania Twain - Now
Shania's lyrics can often carry a bit of a sting, hidden by the upbeat pop melodies - "What A Way To Wanna Be!" from her album "Up!" contains the classic "Bigger is best, but only in the chest". Ouch.

Strictly Come Dancing 2017
I feel that this series is certainly ticking the diversity boxes - it's also the first year where I at least vaguely know all of the contestants. Looking forward to it hugely! Haven't decided who I'm rooting for yet.

Everything Everything
I was going to watch this with my girlfriend (still might).. it's a far cry from what I would normally watch (comedy, adventure) - am I heading for a big mistake? It's early days in our relationship, lol

Annoying cinema experiences?
People sitting behind you, spending the entire film complaining how terrible it is (like... leave?) :w00t:

Worst gameshow ever
Pets Win Prizes with Dale Winton - guilty pleasure, or just plain naff? (hamster races, dog's sense of smell etc)

Coronation Street
The timing of it was really good - I never thought that Phelan had killed Andy in the first place but I'd kind of forgotten all about him. Congratulations to Corrie for pulling off a genuine twist.

EastEnders
I saw a headline online "Walford In Bloom becomes Walford In Boom" relating to this, it just seems another desperate grab at viewers. Eastenders has always been depressing but now it's not just the storylines, it's the whole atmosphere surrounding the show.
