I agree that the muslims should respect the way of life of the country they live in but should that include not being able to do something which is important to their religion and which would have hardly any impact on anyone else's life. By the way I'm muslim and do not believe in the oppression of woman and have nothing against gays.

They should be allowed to practise their religion freely. In South Africa we have many mosques which are allowed to broadcast their prayer calls and nobody complains about it.
