Official comunication (:lol: :lol: ) sometimes labels release some sales data, when i see it i compare that data with my estimations, usually the two data is really similar, but sometimes the difference is too big. is the case of Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake: Labels release an article where they said: Justin Timberlake FutureSex / LoveSounds 6,6M Nelly Furtado Loose 6,1M in this case I should modify my estimations, sorry for NF and JT timberlake fans but i want to make my site more reliable possible. so please don't ask something like "why Nelly Furtado was at almost 8m and now only 6" or something like that.Thanks! bakc now from holiday. -Amy is on 2006 list for Robbie Williams i use the same methods for all artists..so the sales should be around 2, 2-5m just look the chart-runs and see how rudebox flopped respect other robbie albums. 4m is total inflated.

i Would Say Yes in general. but i say NO because,i don't know how many copies sold that paper..but the sales will be high for sure. i hate see an album at n.1 with 200k only beaouse is gratis..is no sense for chart. maybe this album will sold over 1m..but nobody remember it for the songs..ok i now Prince was good etc, but is like that an indie band that put his cd gratis on a paper and sold 1m but nobody have listen the song of the album. chart is usefull to see the success of an album...Prince album instead make it not a question of success but a question of price.. in this sense i don't like also the "nice-price" or "middle-price".

mediatraffic total in top40 is 968.000 and as we know when an album go out of their top 40 mediatraffic not count it. I try to continue the estimations also when an album go out of top40, but unlucky i don't do it for Japanese acts becouse i should have every week japanese sales also for japanese acts (i have only for international acts) but i haven't it :(.

all sales fall in last years..7,4m now is equivalent at almost 10m in 2002. S.A. had more success than BTW generally (apart some countries like UK or France) around the world, but the sales are lower for illegal download and general sales crisis. in 2002 a lot of album going over 10m..in 2006 S.A was the best seller of the year (passed last week only by Justin Timberlake)
