I was just figuring out how many sub-40k weeks have happened only because the true most consumed song was subjected to Artificially Crap Ratio (ACR). There have been 17 sub-40k weeks so far since the middle of 2017 [and the last one before that was All Summer Long in 2008]. Of those 17 I think, from looking at the weekly sales threads, that 13 were only because of ACR, 2017: Feels (Despacito on ACR) 2018: I'll Be There (One Kiss on ACR) 2020: Lemonade (Mood and 1 other track on ACR), Positions (All I Want For Christmas Is You and up to 6 others on ACR) 2022: Easy On Me (Shivers on ACR) 2024: Sailor (Taste on ACR) 2025: Not Like Us (Messy on ACR), Pink Pony Club x2 (Messy on ACR), Dior (Ordinary on ACR) 2026: Choosing Texas (Rein Me In on ACR), Great Expectation x2 (Rein Me In on ACR) So the only 'genuine' sub-40k weeks since Mid 2017 (as long as you accept the SCR metric, or even the idea of adding streams to the chart in general) are: 2021: Sweet Melody, Driver's License 2023: Strangers x2 So without ACR we'd have 92 singles and 133 weeks on the sub-40k list. If anyone spots any mistakes there then feel free to correct me. I've worked it out myself, based on the weekly sales at number one thread by Gezza in the chart vault, and by my reckoning there are 'only' 146 weeks in total, so not all that much more than the 103 records listed here. I take it that each single can only appear once on the list, even where they have more than one qualifying week? Otherwise Sienna Spiro should have two entries here for Great Expectation.

Jamie Miller's Babydoll c;limbs into the Top 40 this week, and it's place on this list week is taken by Cloonee & Prospa ft Tristan's Good Girl, which climbed to #47 last week, and has climbed again this week to #42 to also claim this week's place. Will it crack the top 40 next week?

Hugel, Imael Angel and Ultra Nate's Movin To The Sun spends a third consectuive week at #2 and a fourth on this list.

Alyssa Grace's Bloodstream climbs to new peak of #12 and joins this list.

I was either 13 or 14 depending on what we count. I was 13 when the cover of Knockin' On Heaven's Door got to #1, which featured the voices of children from Dunblane on it, so I would expect a least one of them was younger than me. Otherwise Zac Hanson did for me (and a lot of other people too I'd guess) when he and his brothers got Mmmbop to number one when Zac was just 11!
