I'm so sorry Meg. Dane was a lovely dog and I know how much a part of your family he was. Your house will be emptier without him.

That's annoying Meg. What will you do?

Thanks Sue and Bramley She is unsure yet about Cambridge, the most important for her is choosing the right course, wherever that might be. We will look around Cambridge when doing the tour of universities next summer. I still remember going to look round Edinburgh with Claire. Was very kind of them to plan their open day for when Darius was in Guys and Dolls there. Shame they couldn't plan for good weather as well.

Thanks Pam and Meg She did brilliantly and we are very proud of her. Next step AS levels, then A levels and onto medicine. Long way to go still.

Glad Neil has finished all his treatment. Bet he's happier about his smile (and girl appeal). My fingers are crossed for your house.

Kids, work, husbands. Well everything I guess. Couldn't find the light switch last night. Then a strange woman's voice in the room.

I've never felt in control either but doesn't stop the nightmares. Guess I need a loud nudge every so often to remind me not to kid myself that I have control.

I dreamt I was in a car driving in the country. The gear stick kept coming out and though I kept putting it back it fell out again. Then I was speeding down a country lane and hit a dead end. No gear stick and when I put my foot on the brake the car kept moving forward. I yanked the hand brake, which sort of worked but the car sped backwards stopping right by a group of policemen questioning some guys. They told me to get out of the car and wanted to test if I'd been drinking even though I told them the brakes failed.

Hope your mum is feeling better today. Not sure what I should be doing but whatever it is, I'm on here instead and listening to Simple Like the Truth on repeat

Hope you don't have to wait too long Pam and it all goes smoothly. Being in this sort of limbo is stressful.

Good luck with getting the house you want Pam How does eating cheese at 5.30pm affect what I dream about at 3 or 4 am?

Just life happening. Do I have any effect on it? No. Bramley - for supper yesterday I had a cheese sandwich and fruit. My daughter is sharing a flat with others in Cats but not the main building - a bit further out, where all the second years live.

they were weird In the first dream I went with Claire to a house. At the top, to the right of the front door was a letter box and she slapped card and cellotape over it to seal it up. We went inside and all her friends were in beds. She got into an empty one. Then the landlady of the house appeared and started shouting and ranting about all these people still in bed. I was in the middle trying to calm her and point out that they were students and needed their sleep in the next dream I was in a department store. Laid out on long tables were boxes and boxes of Christmas cakes with inscriptions written on the boxes in silver. Somehow where people had too many cakes they could bring them into the shop to sell. I wasn't going to buy anything - never know where they have been but then I saw one which was inscribed to my friends son I decided to buy it but when I looked back, I couldn't see it. I kept searching and searching but it wasnt there in my last dream I was trying to send an email but my inbox was full so I had tto go througgh deleting messages. It took so long

At least you didn't have to pay but must have left still hungry. I should be making dinner. Don't know how many I'm cooking for.
