Darius Campbell joins Chicago at Garrick Published Thursday 27 October 2011 at 12:16 by Alistair Smith (from The Stage) Darius Campbell has been cast to star as Billy Flynn opposit America Ferrera when Chicago reopens in the West End at the Garrick Theatre next month. Campbell, who was formerly known as Darius Danesh, has played the role before in 2006, when the show was at the Cambridge Theatre. Opening at the Garrick on November 7 alongside Ferrera and Campbell will be Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, James Doherty as Amos Hart, Jasna Ivir as Mama Morton and R. Whitehead as Mary Sunshine. Chicago originally opened at the Adelphi Theatre on November 18, 1997, later transferring from the Adelphi to the Cambridge in April 2006. It is produced in London by Barry and Fran Weissler.
