I should be steam cleaning my carpets, drying my hair and getting ready to go to the Albert Hall.

We may still all be doomed. They just tested out the protons racing through the tube yesterday, they didn't actually have the collision. It's the crash of the two that will create the effects of the Big Bang but may also cause a black hole, which some say we could be sucked into. However Steven Hawkings assures us that it is unlikely and even if a black hole was produced, they happen all the time in space but doesn't effect us.

Thanks. She's having a lovely birthday. I'm stuffed. We went to an Indian restaurant and I ate too much. Claire is now packing as she's off to France tomorrow on holiday (lucky her).

Yes, I did do it all - 3 loads of washing, cleaned, sewed up my daughter's blazer, made lunch, worked on a newsletter I send out monthly and finished writing a story. Hope you have a good night at work Pam.

Glad you had a good time with your grandchildren Bramley. I just seem to have been busy, catching up with friends. Got home last night just after midnight, so was about 1am when I got to bed. I should be cleaning the bathroom, kitchen and toilet, doing the hoovering and a mountain of washing.

I'm with Meg - Now or never

I liked GWTW much much better than Chicago or Guys and Dolls. I loved Les Mis and hated Joseph. I'm all for a bit of tragedy, emotion and depression in musicals. I need a good story and great songs. Parts of Chicago dragged especially the scenes with Velma (and Roxy) dancing and some scenes in Guys and Dolls where Darius wasn't in it.
