Louise - Heavy Love
I see Louise is headlining the Hull Pride in July this year. Glad she is continuing to perform after her solo tour and 9to5 stint in the west end. I actually like the fact that more new people are continuing to hear her music. Maybe she will continue to add to her small group of fans!

Another album signing is announced for Thursday evening in Lakeside Shopping Center, Essex! Go Louise, keep promoting!

Friday Chart Predictions
Anyone know how much Louise has sold between the Monday and Tuesday updates? I’m crossing fingers that she stays top 10!

Louise - Heavy Love
I understand the opinion that it might be unremarkable. But in my view it just lacks gimmicks. I think it has strong production and lyrics and vocals. The collaborators here are strong: Raye, Karen Poole, Clean Bandit, Jojo, Sinead Harnett. It flows as a full album and I am loving it. Such a stronger comeback album that the half baked last albums from Emma Bunton, Alexandra Burke, Martine McCutcheon and others!

iTunes Album Chart ~ 2020
Go Louise! :P

Louise - Heavy Love
Radio 2 is being really good to her lately. Hurt is on their A List at the moment. I’m really pleased with that. Pity Spotify don’t add her on some even smaller playlists.

Mastercard - Merry Go Round
Well if Amazon arranges the Christmas number 1, I suppose MasterCard can have a shot as well!

Louise - Heavy Love
That’s so annoying! Anyone want to give me a UK address I can post some albums to! Is the sale based on the delivery address country or the credit card address.

How has Ed Sheeran managed to stay so relevant?
I don’t understand his appeal at all. In my opinion his personality is very fake and conniving! I find him very unlikable. Also some of his lyrics, songs and videos are awful. Meanwhile the UK has some fantastic singer songwriters that don’t get half enough attention e.g. James Morrison.

Louise - Heavy Love
Why are her Spotify streams SO low :-( She is not included on any playlists! So annoying!
-
Louise - Heavy Love
Yes fingers crossed. Ok this is a basic question but if I buy the album from her web store but I live outside the U.K., the sale is NOT counted for the U.K. charts is it?

Songs that deserved better UK chart peaks in 2019
Louise - Stretch (ok her age counts against her but her comeback is much better quality than I ever expected) Cheryl - Let You

Friday Chart Predictions
Since we are all talking about River, can I just say that I love Mark Feehily (from Weslife) version of the song. Its on Spotify. Check it out! I love his voice on it.

Oh I would much prefer if it WAS released by Samantha Mumba! Samantha for Christmas Mumba 1! :-)

Track of the Week 2019 - Week 50
I voted for Louise. People need to stop sleeping on how great her comeback music is!

Louise - Heavy Love
Yes I really feel Louise is throwing everything at this album. For her style of music and her singing ability (!), I am really really impressed with the quality of her new songs. I actually like all 6 of the tracks released so far and I stream them regularly. I actually think her comeback should be getting more attention. Best of luck to her!

Cher Lloyd - M.I.A • 11th Oct
Yes I agree. I think M.I.A. and None of my Business are both brilliant. She should be having much more success. Interesting that the 5 cities with her most listeners on Spotify are all in the U.S.

Fleur East - Size
This is release now (on a Monday!). Seems more like an advertisement than a song IMO (which I suppose is what it is!). I don't really like it, even though I do like Fleur and bought her first album.
-
Fleur East - Figured Out
And compared to Favourite Thing, the streaming numbers on this are tiny!
-
B*Witched - TBA
I think this cover is not too bad actually. It really says something about the current state of music, if the new release I am listening to most today is a girlband from 20 years ago covering a song from 30 years ago  Or actually it says more about me that the music industry itself :w00t:

Louise - Heavy Love
Yes I don't really understand why there would be any big expectation of success for Louise. Its just so long since she released her last album, the market has completely changed. And she was never a really hugely successful act back in the day anyway. For me I am happy that the good songs keep coming, Louise gets some opportunity to promote (like she how she performed 'Lead Me On' on the One Show), and that the tour is enjoyable. Regarding the charts, I would really love if the album went Top 20. And I am not going to panic about its second week performance, I know it will plummet after week one. Its hard for me to assess how good/bad her streaming number are as she is not in a comparable situation to anyone else. I'm not sure what kind of promotion she would have around release week. But hopefully something will be arranged. Maybe she should go on 'I'm a Celebrity' or something! And after this album is done, I'm ready for an Eternal reunion!

Louise - Heavy Love
I like this song too. Heavy Love is shaping up to be a good album.

Cher Lloyd - M.I.A • 11th Oct
Yes I really like this. She delivers again! Hope this gets some promotion/attention.

Fleur East - Figured Out
After first listen I’m not sure if I really love it or if it’s kind of average. But I will be streaming this a lot more to figure that out :cheer:
