Louise - Heavy Love
Why are her Spotify streams SO low :-( She is not included on any playlists! So annoying!
-
Louise - Heavy Love
Yes fingers crossed. Ok this is a basic question but if I buy the album from her web store but I live outside the U.K., the sale is NOT counted for the U.K. charts is it?

Songs that deserved better UK chart peaks in 2019
Louise - Stretch (ok her age counts against her but her comeback is much better quality than I ever expected) Cheryl - Let You

Track of the Week 2019 - Week 50
I voted for Louise. People need to stop sleeping on how great her comeback music is!

Louise - Heavy Love
Yes I really feel Louise is throwing everything at this album. For her style of music and her singing ability (!), I am really really impressed with the quality of her new songs. I actually like all 6 of the tracks released so far and I stream them regularly. I actually think her comeback should be getting more attention. Best of luck to her!

Cher Lloyd - M.I.A • 11th Oct
Yes I agree. I think M.I.A. and None of my Business are both brilliant. She should be having much more success. Interesting that the 5 cities with her most listeners on Spotify are all in the U.S.

Fleur East - Size
This is release now (on a Monday!). Seems more like an advertisement than a song IMO (which I suppose is what it is!). I don't really like it, even though I do like Fleur and bought her first album.

Fleur East - Figured Out
And compared to Favourite Thing, the streaming numbers on this are tiny!
-
B*Witched - TBA
I think this cover is not too bad actually. It really says something about the current state of music, if the new release I am listening to most today is a girlband from 20 years ago covering a song from 30 years ago  Or actually it says more about me that the music industry itself :w00t:

Louise - Heavy Love
Yes I don't really understand why there would be any big expectation of success for Louise. Its just so long since she released her last album, the market has completely changed. And she was never a really hugely successful act back in the day anyway. For me I am happy that the good songs keep coming, Louise gets some opportunity to promote (like she how she performed 'Lead Me On' on the One Show), and that the tour is enjoyable. Regarding the charts, I would really love if the album went Top 20. And I am not going to panic about its second week performance, I know it will plummet after week one. Its hard for me to assess how good/bad her streaming number are as she is not in a comparable situation to anyone else. I'm not sure what kind of promotion she would have around release week. But hopefully something will be arranged. Maybe she should go on 'I'm a Celebrity' or something! And after this album is done, I'm ready for an Eternal reunion!

Louise - Heavy Love
I like this song too. Heavy Love is shaping up to be a good album.

Cher Lloyd - M.I.A • 11th Oct
Yes I really like this. She delivers again! Hope this gets some promotion/attention.

Fleur East - Figured Out
After first listen I’m not sure if I really love it or if it’s kind of average. But I will be streaming this a lot more to figure that out :cheer:

Fleur East - Figured Out
Oh was not expecting this but looking forward to hearing it. Will be Fleur be on the X Factor Allstars thing this year? If not how does she intend promoting this. Favourite Things got to No.80 and that was just after her stint in the jungle.

Track of the Week 2019 - Week 37
I want to vote for Breaking Back Together by Louise.
-
Louise - Heavy Love
The 4th song released from the album was released yesterday! Its called 'Breaking Back Together' and its really nice. Probably my second favourite song from Heavy Love, after Stretch.

Louise - Heavy Love
Oh what a pain. I pre-ordered this ages ago. I don’t really get this strategy. I will be bored of Stretch, Small Talk and Lead Me On by the time the album comes out.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 23rd August 2019
Oh wow Kelle Bryan (ex-Eternal) was on the iTunes chart with I Wanna Know. That’s cool. That song was never even released as a single back in the day. Of course being No.600 and something makes no big difference but I was happy to see her name there!

Q4 Predictions 2019
For Q4 all I want really is for Louise to do well with her album Heavy Love :cheer: I expect it will have an ok first week and then freefall. But would like if it hung on to the charts even a little bit (i.e. more than the last albums by Alexandra Burke or Emma Bunton for example)! And after that, for Eternal to reform!

Louise - Heavy Love
Maybe this is a stupid question but are the streams for Stretch, Small Talk and Lead Me On counted towards the albums first week sales when it is released in October? Ok her streams are small but every little helps!

Louise - Heavy Love
But I think from the beginning it has always been the plan to release 4-5 singles before the album. I just want to see some promotion from her! Some live tv performances or something! But what are the promotion opportunists for some like Louise in 2019? Appear on Loose Women, do album signings (but Will Young for example cancelled his), some Radio 2 support...
-
Louise - Heavy Love
I have ordered the album too and I can't wait for it! I just cannot believe that after all this time we will have a Louise album in 2019! But I do also wonder what they are expecting from this. How can she expect much return if she has not done much to promote Stretch or Small Talk. Has she performed anywhere on TV? In my mind they are waiting to make some sort of impression with the Clean Bandit song. I think I saw on Twitter recently that she was in Portugal for a new music video.

Will Young - Lexicon
Love this album from start to finish. I think it’s my favourite of 2019 so far! Don’t know my favourite songs yet.

Girl Bands - Top 100 Singles & Top 40 Studio Albums
I’m surprised Eternals album Always and Forever is not higher. Given that it was the first girlband album to sell over 1m in the U.K. And here it’s not even top 10. Also it’s chart run always pretty amazing. Maybe album sales were low back then in the ‘90’s.
