Well I was a huge Eternal and Louise fan and I still listen to their music lots on Spotify. If her shows sold out last year there must be some demand for her. I think she still has a certain celebrity power. At least enough to get a top 20 album given the low sales climate. Looking forward to hear what she comes back with. She has my support anyway!

But Steve Brookstein has a No.1 album after X Factor. I think Louisa and Rak-Su are the only ones not to have albums. Have Rak-Su been dropped already?

I like the song but this is actually the best video of her career so far (considering how abysmal any video from her debut era was). So its top 10 on iTunes and No.4 on New Music Friday. Good start :-)

Yes I really like those performances. And the crowd seemed to love her, despite the media trying to make everyone turn on her. LMMDI is holding up inside the Top 50 on Mondays update. How is her streaming looking like?

Wow overall her single sales are so low. Only one platinum single! Always knew she was much more successful in the US anyway. I wish she would come back with some big big tunes again like Hero, We Belong Together...

Does Cher have any promotion lined up for this? Things seem to have gone quiet this week!

I really hate when artists talk about such personal family issues in the run up to an album release. Cheap way to get peoples sympathy and some promotion. I'm looking forward to his retirement.

Yes, like everyone else on here so far, I LOVE this! Well done Cher! Would be great if she can have some success with this. I'd like to have her back on the scene. Does she have any promo lined up for this? And if so, what is her focus for now, the UK market?

Westlife coming back, I can tolerate. But Westlife singing an Ed Sheeran written songs makes me feel ill.

Oh god I wish Eternal would come back with some new music!! With or without Louise. As for B*Witched, I do like them and I wish they have some success like Steps. But I think they were more a novelty act without ever having a strong fan base. Their success was quite short lived. I'd love even if a new album from them charted!

Her image was tainted 17 years after H & Claire. Nobody wanted a solo album from her then. But now she has a more positive image and a successful Steps reunion. I think she suits the Radio 2 market quite well now. The new single is on Spotify now. I like it.

All Saints are my favourite here. Then Rita Ora.

I really think Happy is underrated! I still listed to it a lot on Spotify. One More Sleep would be my second choice.

I remember when I heard 'The Show' first. I was SURE it would be a No.1. Until The Show came out I thought they were just another reality TV group that would quickly fade away with their second album. How wrong I was!

Hopefully we can finally get some new solo music from her then!! By the way, is she returning to X Factor or not?

And if Spotify pay out $0.0038 per play, how much of this would an artist actually get? I always imagine it would be 10% of this amount if they are just the performer and another 10% if they actually wrote the song. The rest goes to record companies, agents, management etc. Is that completely wrong?

I really hope she does come back. But for it to work out I think she would need backing from a big label and a really quality single. She is a great performer and I love her energy but the odds are against her I guess.

Great, I'm glad she is coming back. I wonder if this will be handled as a nostalgic comeback like Steps and All Saints recent successful albums (and Lisa Stansfields more floppy comeback!). Or will it be promoted like a 'current' and fully promoted era with singles and radio airplay and promotion etc. Know what I mean guys?

Well done to them! And to do it n their 4th album is really impressive. However I am sad they took the record from Eternal (who I LOVE). Eternals album had the same number of weeks in the top 10 as Spice (which is what this tread is about) so in my view Eternal and Spice Girls were joint No.1 before Little Mix came and topped them both.

Yes I agree. She has not had a song that has really caught on with the general public. I still hope Yes can make an impact. I looked on Spotify at the cities where she is listened to most. I thought the top 5 cities would all be in the UK/Ireland. However they are: London, Dublin, Bangkok, Singapore and Istanbul! I didn't think she was known at all outside UK/Ireland.

So it seems that Go to Work by Nadine is the first and only solo Girls Aloud song to overtake one of Cheryls singles in Spotify streams. I mean that Go To Work has overtaken 'The Flood' in Spotify streams. Is that correct? Cheryl can't have it all her own way anymore!

I know her career has not had a stellar start but she has not done extremely badly either like a lot of other X Factor winners. So Good went Gold, Best Behaviour and Unpredictable went silver and Tears (with Clean Bandits) went Platinum. Lets not say that she has not achieved anything. Chart positions alone are not everything anymore. She does have 4/4 certified singles. Also, I love 'Yes' and am willing it to do well.
