Spotify Chart Thread 2018 [II]
But my calculations Louisa did 234,000 on day 1 and 62,000 on Day 2. How good/bad is this for a new release?

Spotify Chart Thread [Q4 2017] | Eminem #1, Ed #2 combined
Matt Terry is doing ok with Sucker For You isn't he? Is sticking around longer than I thought it would.

Fleur East - Love, Sax and Flashbacks
I'm not surprised really. They never even tried to push a second single. And at the end of her contract they never made one good/passable video for her. The album didn't sell THAT badly did it? I thought it went Gold even though I know it only peaked at No.14. I really hope she can sign with a new label. I think she has the character and ability to come back strong and have a hit again. But only it she releases by Spring 2018 at the latest!

Which country have the best girl groups ?
B*Witched are not from the UK. Anyway you had Eternal in your list and that's the main thing!

Cher Lloyd - Sorry I'm Late
Is she still recording/signed to a label? Her 'Activated' single last year didn't do any business really.

Friday Chart Predictions
Pity Una Healy is falling so quickly throughout the week :-(

What constitutes a 'hit' single?
A few years ago Louisa Johnsons 'So Good' would be seen as a flop for peaking at No.13. However in this climate its longevity has caused it to be a hit in my opinion. And I don't hear people calling this particular song a flop.

Una Healy - The Waiting Game
Why are the streaming numbers for 'The Waiting Game' so low on Spotify? It seems that not even The Saturdays fans have listened to it. Streams are only on 1,456 after 5 days!

4th Impact - Unleash The Diva
What does that mean?

4th Impact - Unleash The Diva
I thought this group could do well if they had major label backing. I'm a bit surprised if they were not offered some record deals.

Sam Bailey - Sing My Heart Out
Yes 2,000 sales is so small. But realistically how many people even knew this album was released? I'm sure she has next to no AirPlay and minimal promotion. I like the album and hope it can continue to sell. Sam is on tour next spring so that may help.

Sam Bailey - Sing My Heart Out
SAMs new album is actually quite good. I like it more than I expected. Hope it does well for her. 'Its Gets Better Every Day' is becoming a guilty pleasure of mine!

Friday Chart Predictions
I just listen to the new Sam Bailey album on Spotify. It's actually quite good and even has some lively tracks I wasn't expecting. Fair play to her going out and recording her own original album. Pity it's only no.26 so far.

Strictly Come Dancing 2016
Yes! Louise is confirmed. Oh I used to love her. Must listen to Naked, 2 Faced, Undivided Love again.
-
Stooshe - Let It Go
I'm still loving this! Have it in my Spotify playlist still. The girls are doing a radio tour of the U.K. For the next 2 weeks. I like that they are restarting from a small base and getting out there and promoting and trying to build from there. Wish this song would do well!

Stooshe - Let It Go
So this song is out today and I've just heard it for the first time on Spotify. It's really good and has a nice video which was filmed in Italy. Hope it does better than Lock Down which only has total plays on Spotify at the moment of 39,000.

Phenomenon of washed-up Artist getting boost in Album Chart
I hope Eternal come back with another album. There last studio album, which was as a duo, got to No.87. All there previous albums were at least top 10 and double platinum (I think!). Not sure if it is likely though!

OCC Flashback: Hanson's MmmBop was #1 19 years ago
Aw I love Eternal. If I remember correctly, Eternal spend 3 weeks at No.2 behind Hanson. So if it wasn't for Hanson, Eternal would have been No.1 for 4 weeks!! Anyway, it's a brilliant top 10. I love 90's music!
