Yep, I don't find many films to be "sick" but some of the scenes in Saw 3 are just REPULSIVE - the fact that any director could even COME UP with something like a guy getting buried alive in pig remains is rather freaky...so yeah, on the whole I don't find horror films to be "sick" - like you, it is more the psychological horror. You pointed out "Wolf Creek" ...now that is one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen..
