hi, was it sharon who replied? im at library at moment, & i have to tell you that i wouldnt even know how to 'post a picture', so- sorry-its a 'feat' of perseverance & luck, that im now even able to reply or post in any way! when i switched radio on the interview was already in full swing, so may have missed some. Darius said all the usual stuff & added that he was performing some new songs, to be included in his album next year. i wish i could agree with you, that i was lucky, catching this, but because of that 'Fly ME' RECORDING, I WISH I HAD MISSED IT! I'll let you all know what i thought of the show- [i've never seen a bad performance of Darius live yet] jeanette

hi everyone-firstly, i' m glad for you all;that you will have access to new facebook site, but i hope this site will be continued, since i dont have any access to facebook, using the library! & i like to keep up to date about future performances etc: i will be going to see darius tomorrow at the kings, & i'm hoping my daughter will be impressed by his live performance. by a 'fluke' i heard darius being interviewed on radio clyde2 today(lunch time). interview was really good & he sang 2 recorded songs.'THE WAY WE WERE' & 'FLY ME TO THE MOON'. the recording of 'fly me' was one & the same of that he made available on his website.! why, i wonder would he do that?! have you all heard it? & im sure darius must have listened to it! & if so.then-is there a 'mental block' present in his mentality! Darius has a wonderful singing voice & is so versatile. i had hoped that today would be another opportunity,to showcase that great voice & then he went ahead & deliberately used that dodgy recording! i'm sure he will be great tomorrow night. will let you all know how it was. regards,jeanette

here goes- i dont know if this is the way to address you all- however ,worth a try! i am the one who usually , only visits the library,once a week on mondays,in order to find out about darius's t.v. appearances, concerts etc. i checked yesterday(mon:) & noted there was nothing imminent, so you can imagine my surprise, when i got home, switched on the t. v., & there he was! wish i could know in advance. i know you all try your best to keep me informed,but there's so much that you dont get told about! thanks anaway. however- back to the hour- this was darius at his 'sizzling best'. he looked years younger, & on this occasion, it would'nt really have mattered what he sung, or how he sung it! he came at that screen like a portrait of perfection,& the only way to describe the whole performance was 'sex incorporated'! yes the singing was fine, but most people would, primarily, be mesmerised by the man himself. by the way, wasnt he wonderful on bbc2. if you ever leave was just wonderful. just hearing the deep rich& the beautiful @high shows his voice off to perfection. if any of you get news of appearances, please try to put up on monday early afternoon. i come up to the library about 2pm . looking forward to 'kings on 19th. regards jeanette.

thanks for info. could any of you please e- mail me when you know of a t.v. appearance of darius. i dont have a computer at home, & only visit the library on a monday, so please notify me as soon as you know. i'm looking forward to seeing darius at the kings theatre on oct: 19th-just so long as he does'nt sing 'come fly with me', in that awful 'thin key' i heard on his website. hope its just a mistake! anaway, thanks for all the updates- i love 'Badabada boom' regards, jeanette

hi, pam & bramley- thanks both, for your suggestions,re internet cafe. my sister actually has a computer,but i wont see her for a couple of weeks, and will hope by the time i visit her the links wont have dissappeared. pam, after i replied to you yesterday, i logged into my hotmail, & was surprised & 'touched' at the trouble you had gone to, on my behalf.all ready&set up, one click away!-but of course,i couldnt get in ,due to library restrictions;but nevertheless,it was a lovely thing for you to do.i'll let you know if &when i manage to viewit. just a thought- if i ask my brother-in law. would it be possible for me to have the songs downloaded to a cd. is that possible do you think? you'll realise by now that i'm a huge Darius fan, & i follow every aspect of his career ( i've been to every possible concert & of course Chicago, guys & dolls & gone with the wind) & i just might be crazy enough to make an appearance at SnowWhite!) so you can imagine how gutted i was to have gone to Ayr & not to hear this feast of songs. sitting at the same table as me, near theback were two younger girls; obviously darius fans- one of them had long golden red hair, i think the other .brown-they were so well mannered, asking me, if they would be likely to block my view, by sitting opposite me- so considerate- mabey you know them? little did they or i realise just how late on he'd be. i'll keep in touch, & hope there is an album to look forward to ,soon-hopefully before i'm too old to trail around- that album's been getting written for years now-eh. regards,jeanette

hi pam, im really grateful for your directions & efforts on my behalf,but even following your instructions to the letter, the screen , here at the library,just flashes up 'warning, retricted user, which does not allow me access via facebook, twitter etc. i went on to the correct page,&on to post 52. clicked, but it was a youtube link, & so not allowed. 0n the old darius site-closed now, it was always easy to wiew videos,& i dont know why its not poss: here, but anaway,mabey im not meant to see or hear this, after the fiasco of going to the concert,& having to leave for last train at11pm-sorry to repeat myself- still cant really get over it! many thanks,regards,jeanette
