Meg alluded to it earlier. When D was performing his first song, he was seated on a gas filled chair. Unfortunately, whilst playing Colourblind, the chair started to sink with him in it and he ended up sitting about 18 inches from the floor  Later, after he had sung the 2nd song to a young lady from the audience, he went to move the same chair and this time the back just lifted off in his hand  He made a joke that his brother had placed a trick chair there to wind him up, it was very funny :) It's a shame you didn't attend PIP, but I'm sure we will have many more occasions to see D this year and hopefully beyond too :) Just wish we knew what he was doing and when, as holidays/hotels and train tickets might need to be booked.

Thanks, but I feel pics featured on fansites should come from members of the site or professionals(both with permission), so I'd be oblidged if you don't use any of mine, thanks! http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/07_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/08_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/09_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/10_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/11_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/12_filtered.jpg
  3. Well that's flaming annoying! Just registered and clicked to download the song and it says service unavailable  Has anyone else tried and got the same message, or is it just me?
  4. I've just got back with the paper. Don't buy papers usually and got a shock as it was £1.50 :o Haven't looked at it yet, but will probably download and buy a cd.

Nice pics Meg, David's quite a handy chap to have around isn't he :) He did sing it well, but not as well as on PSTOS IMO. I feel if he really worked on this song, it could be wonderful for him and his lovely rich voice, but he was a little up and down in his range during it, because he's not finalised the start and finishing notes. Here's a few more pics. I've wound up my clockwork computer, which fortunately still has my photo editing suite on. It takes me three times as long but at least I can do a reasonable job on them. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/01_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/02_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/03_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/04_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/05_filtered.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/06_filtered.jpg I have a few more pics to edit and upload a bit later, but as with these, they're all pretty much the same, with no outstanding shots. I'll try and give a little report with next posting too :)

I've had some computer problems last few weeks, and have lost my editing software. I have a very basic editing suite, but it's so annoying to use, and I'm knackered, so I'll just post these few pics tonight. They're not really the best, simply the first few I came to, but until I get my editing kit sorted they're all I can mangage. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/001.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/02.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/03.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/04.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/05.jpg Sorry they're not great, but hopefully I can manage better tomorrow(but no promises I am afraid :() Darius was popular after he sang, and of course made time for everyone. I'll produce more of a report tomorrow, but he did sing well. One thing I would say is that I still don't feel Nessun Dorma is right for him to sing. He gave a reasonable performance of it, but I didn't feel it was outstanding. I think it's one that should either be absolutely perfected, or binned and never sung by him again. Not meaning to be negative, just my opinion you understand :) Right I'm off to bed so I'll see you guys tomorrow, gooodnight all :)

Wish you could have come down Madame C, it would have been lovely to see you again, maybe next time :) Only been home 1/2 an hour but I've just uploaded the photo's and there isn't any outstanding pics, but that was due to the location and not really being able to move for people around us. I'm pretty sure Meg and Pam will have better shots than mine to show you, but I will edit a few of the best ones and post them here as soon as I can this evening. Had a lovely time with Spam and Meg, it was a pleasure to see you both again :) OK! Off to edit some pics.

Train tickets booked, look forward to seeing you there Hey Spam, a thought just occurred to me. This might seem a little crazy, but do you think Meg might like to attend this? She kinda likes D( I think) so what do ya reckon? :D Hope we get lots of chance for a chat with the big guy So good to be traveling back to see him again too I think I'm a little :w00t: OOh Sue, just caught your post whilst editing mine. I'm taking 2 camera's, so hope to take lottttttttttts of pics :naughty:

It's a long way to come, but it would be great to chat with D so I'm thinking of nipping down to this. Who's else is going?
  10. Only just heard the song and it's beautiful. Obviously I would prefer D to sing more throughout, a bit like that Marsha(I think) woman seems to, but it really was quite moving to hear. Not sure I can face the other youtube vid, but will probably have to take a look a bit later. Thanks for the links guys :)

My sister is perpetually running on Darius time. When we arrange a meet, I always allow an hour or so before I consider trying to contact her to find out where she is  She's a bit like D though as she's always doing 3-4 things (and all at once usually) and she's lovely too :)
  12. Why would they choose to limit the distribution of a charity single in this way? I doubt it will make much of an impression on the music charts, which is a shame because the cause still needs support and plenty of funds :(
  13. Thanks Preston. I'd not seen the Sun and now I have, I understand your post, and deeply regret clicking on the page to check it out
  14. I agree, though I don't think it's a bad idea really. Why should he lose half his wealth if they decide to split up in a few years? I don't believe pre-nuptual contracts are enforceable in this country(not sure why), so look for him taking the vows in the states, possibly a beach wedding in Hawaii or something along those lines.
  15. Sorry to appear thick, but I'm a bit lost at this post. Could you explain it to me a little please?

You're not are you  Me TOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! :w00t:
  17. I was hoping for some photos and a little video footage, did anyone manage to take any that we can see?

As I said before, that's exactly right, yours, mine and everyone else's multiple votes, with it being so close, made the difference between him winning and losing I would guess you voted more over all the weeks in Feb PIP and this is why you got such a huge bill. I multiply voted each week, but didn't avidly vote until the semi final, and even then it was only me until the final when my sis helped me out, and Mum and Dad voted with their mobiles bless them :) You haven't mentioned your other half having a headache or anything, so I am presuming he hasn't hit the roof, so I think he's probably quite a good egg :) and when he's got a beautiful lady like you as his partner in life, why would he ever worry about a few quid(or loads) on a phone bill :)
  19. B.P. posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Can't imagine anyone else having such a large bill PIP :o My BT bill is normally between £50-£60 per quarter, including line rental, I'm expecting it to be a little higher when it comes this time  I can't imagine it will be anywhere near as much as yours though PIP, blummin' 'eck chuck :o Spam's right though, D is thrilled to bits, so it's worth a little grovelling :)
  20. He's so damn good, it seems almost unreal to see him nervous about just singing :o but I suppose even D is human, and it is a big pressure occasion. Nervous start, built up throughout with a raucous "come on Scotland" at the end. Great to see it, thanks Sharon

Yes you're correct Sue, it was posted in one of the forums here a while back, before we knew about PSTOS I believe.
  22. Look forward to seeing them sistermother :)
  23. Did we manage to get a clip from anyone please? If so, I'd like to see it, thanks! :)

I've been to Coney Island, it was closed :D well almost, but we loved visiting anyway :)

I was wondering that too BT. Although it's possible that darius did actually say these things, it's also possible that they're not 100% accurate either. It's hard to imagine a teenager who looks like D did would struggle to find girlfriends, unless it really was his choice to abstain. Given how he's been brought up, I would guess it was the latter. I suppose the source could just as easily have been another client, rather than any of the staff, as discussions in these places are seldom private, unless they have private rooms there??? Just one final point, in case anyone missed D saying it. Darius is single ladies, you lucky things
