Yes just a little distraction :D It was great that Booth said he was still writing though :)
  2. OOOPS! I forgot you have heard mine though, so I shouldn't really comment on Frank's  People in glass houses and all that  I quite like Al Murray, and he insists on singing at the end of his shows and isn't very good. I am starting to worry I may have a pattern forming with comedians that I enjoy
  3. How special was it on Tuesday the 22nd Meg, he was just awesome wasn't he :)

It's wonderful that this forum is top again :) Well done all you busy types on here though I realise this chart isn't really very important in the grand scheme of things. If only D could have a no1 album for this amount of weeks, now that would be something :w00t:
  5. Yeah and he paid thousands for the shirt too  I have gone off Frank's comedy in recent years, but he does seem like a true Elvis fan, so he can't be all bad :) I think a big part of me not watching him anymore, apart from the fact he isn't on tv at the moment, is because he insists on singing at the end of his shows, and he really isn't very good at all :puke2:
  6. I would love to bid on those pics in the auction. I can't afford to buy them, but would love to have made a bid on them :)
  7. As wonderful as it would be to own a signed item, you would always have your worries about authenticty. I remeber Frank Skinner buying an Elvis shirt on tv one time, but it really didn't look like the one Elvis was pictured in IMO. One of Elvis' friends/ bodygaurds, signed a letter of authenticity, but I wasn't convinced.

It was a little exciting to think it might have happened, but the more you read the less likely it seems
  9. Wonderful pics He certainly had a few taken, but still not enough. Could there ever be enough pics for you ladies?

  11. How tall was Elvis?
  12. Thanks BT :) If only I could get official credentials as such, access all areas and all that :w00t:

In the film and the musical, from what I have seen and what D has said, that particular scene portrays marital rape, as Scarlett has decided that they will no longer sleep together, but Rhett takes matters into his own arms. In the morning, Scarlett doesn't regret what has transpired, probably realising this passion is what had been lacking in her life, but just because that was the case, it doesn't mean Rhett was anything but completely out of order for his conduct, hence his apology. I think this was what D was referring to PIP.
  14. Here's a few more pics :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/19.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/20.jpg Did I mention I kissed Jill  http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/4.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/5.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/6.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/29.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/28.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/30.jpg I spoke briefly with Ben Elton after the world premier, and asked him what he thought of Darius' performance. He said he thought Darius was a brilliant actor and said he sounded absolutely great http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/7.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/26.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/23.jpg Did I mention I got another kiss, and a nice hug this time from Natasha  http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/21.jpg

I have just been disconnected whilst trying to post the last of my pics over there :(
  16. I thought Jill sounded wonderful in all of her songs on the 22nd. For me she hit every note and I was shocked to hear she had been criticised for her singing :o Some pics :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/1.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/2.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/3.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/11.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/12.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/14.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/16.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/17.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/GWTW/18.jpg

Having only seen it the once so far, all of these points seem relevent to me. People were laughing when Melanie gave birth and it seemed strange to me that she would be singing on her death bed. I have already mentioned about the miming of the horses too. I think the points are valid, but some people carry them to the extreme, and this is when they allow them to overshadow what is still a great show, which will only get better IMO :)
  18. Great pics Meg Love the poster too :)

Only 1 guest at the moment, but there are 3 mooses and me too :D
  20. I feel her character has been made slightly warmer in the musical, certainly than that of the film. I really didn't like her very much in the film, as determined and strong willed as she was, so this small departure allows me to warm to her in this production. I am sure this is intentional and if they gave Melanie some of the same treatment, it would help people empathise more with her character too.
  21. I didn't make it to sleep :( but I did make it to work on time :) I really hope I manage to sleep tonight though
  22. Hope it's ok to post these pics here, please remove if not. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Stage%20Door/103.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Stage%20Door/104.jpg Through The Barricades - Spandau Ballet
  23. Let's hope it is purchased by a true fan who will then go on to share it with the rest of the world, as it should be!
  24. I should be sleeping, I am at work at 6am :(
  25. She was totally lovely in the film, and that was why I understood Rhett's remarks about her at the end, but anyone not having seen the flm or read the book would have probably been confused by them. When are you planning on seeing the show BT?
