Well I thought it was time to "get rid" eon :D Sorry, but he was just an opera singer to me, and not a great one either! Maybe if he had tried to push himself into different genres I would have had more time for him. I have to say though, he probably did have the best voice overall, but then so did Leona, and she didn't move me either. When I saw Bushell, I wondered why his report would be positive about D because I still associate his name with the Sun. Seeing that it was the Daily Star explains a lot as they have quite often written encouraging and pleasant things about D :) Maybe Lorraine Kelly should start writing for them :rolleyes:

I am a little on the fence with this one. I feel an artist should have a lot of imput into what music they record. But given a record companies investment in them, they must retain a little control. Maybe there could be some form of aggreement between record company and artist, ensuring that their investment is protected financially in the event of an artist recording/releasing songs against their wishes, which would free the artsist to record what they like without risk to the RC. Some people do pretty well singing other peoples songs, look at Elvis :) In many ways, I would have liked Darius to have had lots more success with his albums, and if that meant 3-4 of his own songs making way for huge number 1 hits, I would have accepted the trade off, though I know others wouldn't want that. Does anyone know how Kelly Clarkson's latest album has performed?

I guess he has bills to pay just like the rest of us. I wonder if he chose to leave Eastenders, probably not, but you never really know. I would have thought such a role would be quite lucrative and seeing as it's based around many characters, you would have no problem going away for a few weeks holiday. Just had a thought, Sean would make a great Amos, especially with his puppy dog eyes :)

She seemed lovely at the show in 2005, laughing out loud several times at Rory Bremner :) I hadn't known until that moment that she was D's inspiration for Devil In You.

Isn't the press in this country wonderful :rolleyes: You guys will know an awful lot more than me about Priscilla but is she really a bad person? She married Elvis, but the few details I have heard about their marriage, mention she was left on her own a great deal of time, both before and after Lisa Marie arrived. What things has she done that have made you dislike her?

The USA is such a massive place and obviously she has fans around the world. I have been lucky enough to see her three times(once very briefly). Their problem is, when she appears at stuff over there it will normally be a huge event type thing, where even if they attended, they wouldn't be able to get close enough to say hello :( NUTS was amazing and I am really pleased now that I plucked up the courage to ask her for a little kiss :)

PIP I am sure that your family don't see you as a non person! Certainly your daughter doesn't as according to her, you are the person to blame for her not revising enough :D Positive out of a negative and all that :) My sister has 3 kids(2 children and 1 husband) to look after, as well as working part time and running a guides/brownies club. I take my hat off to all mums as it's a full time job that they fit in around all the other things they need to do each day
