  1. Glad you enjoyed the show BT :) Shame about the screamers and the poor mic first half, but I knew you'd be able to hear D singing clearly throughout. I get the strangest feeling. I am just a fan, a nobody, but when D sings he fills me with pride for him :) I guess I'm just odd, but I don't care, I can't help it :)
  2. I don't think you'll have a problem hearing his beautiful, booming voice BT, even with an excitable crowd. If the audience is similar to that of Lincoln, I would guess the average age there would have been 50+, so quite a bit older than a more normal Darius gig. Have a wonderful time, take lots of pics(if you can) and let us know all about it :)

I'd choose the Beatles :D but seeing as they aren't all around nowadays :( I'd settle for that Paul McCartney fella :D
  4. Excellent pics Meg Isn't it just SOOOO frustrating when they stop you taking pics unecessarily

What was wrong with BT's link PIP :???:
  6. Sounds like another wonderful evening Did anyone manage any shots of the actual show or does anyone have any more from afterwards?
  7. Nice pics Nina! Did you have a chat with D? How full was the show and was it as well received as previous ones do you think? Very interested to hear of the professional filming :) I'd buy a dvd of the entire show. I haven't yet bought a cd as D only sings 3 of the numbers on it. If he'd put his own 3 new numbers on there too, I'd have bought one.
  8. Thanks BT, good stuff I've not seen a bad review yet, has anyone else?
  9. The famous "Gas" jacket is back He'd make a wonderful father, I really hope it happens for him if that's what he wants :) though I'm not convinced Natasha wants to go down that route
  10. Nice pics Meg :) Did you get a chat with D?
  11. Some of the proposed dates clashed with some of D's plans for next year. Hopefully he can juggle and confirm as many of them as possible.
  12. He certainly does. Great news it was another full venue I'm so tempted to go to Manchester, but can I really afford to

Agree with you PIP Sinatra guy was ok, but doesn't this just show how good D actually is in this genre. MMJ oh my lord :puke: The boy done good :D

Thanks Bramley! I posted the pic to my portfolio and members can vote if they like it, but there's no prize unless you enter one of the site's competitions. Just received the final total from St Andrews and it's £543.62 :) Not bad for a first time busker and his musical friend :)

Accepted :) Of course, when everything goes wonderfully well, I'll claim all the glory for it :D I'm sure everything will be absolutely fine, it's just great you can make it :)

 Fantastic Meg! It would have been a real shame to miss him in something new. Please tell your family I accept full responsibility :D Being a happily married man, I'm used to doing so  Really pleased you'll be able to go, have you looked at specific dates yet?

Do you live near Heathrow Meg? There's a shuttle between there and Glasgow which would get you there and back in a day, so you could attend a matinee performance. I think the return trip would work out around £90ish with BA, but you'd also need to add the cost of a taxi from the airport to the centre of town(unless there's a cheaper alternative). Lot's of matinees at different times and flights too, you know it makes sense Meg :naughty:

It's a shame you can't make it Meg, is there no possibility for you? Don't think I'll be ble to get there on the 17th either Sue :( I think I'll travel down anyway, Glasgow is supposed to be quite a beautiful city, so I might try some photography whilst there. I'm liking this pic from the ambassador ticket site :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/SnowWhite.jpg

I know he's not listed, just think he might appear anyway.

Given his antics this year, and that he's supported them in the past, it would be amazing if he didn't appear, even if it was only a quick aria. Fingers crossed for anyone who's going along :) Wish I could but works busy at the moment.

Is anyone else going to the Friday the 3rd show? I've got a ticket and kinda booked(it's a long story) a hotel for 2 nights, but I can see me being awfully lonely down there. I was hoping to be able to take some photographs for D at the show, but after initially agreeing, he realised that the Kings Theatre wouldn't allow it as they used their own in house photographer :( So close but yet so far  At least I finally plucked up the courage to offer :)

Just a thought here and it's not on the website, but if D is in London on the 8th of October, surely he would make an appearance at the NUTS event on the 7th, which is featuring music from several opera's, including Carmen. I think anyone in the area that could go along might get a nice surprise, though I have absolutely no knowledge of D's attendance.

You're such an intelligent and lovely person BT, I can't think of anywhere(nice) where you would be out of place, though I know what you mean about feeling that way as I am similar myself(but without the intelligence or as nice a personality).
  25. Actually, now I think of it, he said it was his management company that wouldn't allow it, not his record company.
