  1. I asked him at Lincoln and got the same response as you Meg. He said he would like to give us access to some of the songs he's moved on from but that his record company wouldn't allow it :(
  2. "Ooh yes, it was my green tiered skirt!" :w00t: I can feel those impure thoughts coming on again :naughty: :teresa: Loved Shaun in this too, he played a good part and what a gentleman he was at the stage door :) Not sure who played D's love interest(can't even remember her characters name) but I thought, even though she was nice looking, she needed to be slightly more attractive to make the storyline totally believable. Especially as D was playing Sky.
  3. Ah, nope  Actually, now I think of it, I can remember very little of the show other than genuinely believing that Darius' character had fallen in love  and Magda's lovely frilly skirt :naughty:
  4. :o What have I missed, I don't remember that???

I have even less faith in horoscopes than I do in religion, though it is a close call
  6. I can't think that it would BT. Hello by the way :hi:
  7. I'm not mad with him either, but I am surprised at him, especially on a live midday show. You could tell he felt strongly about the issue, and as I said, I fully agreed with his point of view. I agree with pip, that with some of the topics they discuss and the endless inuendo on the show, which is quite risque sometimes, it was a bit rich for them to tell him off like a naughty schoolboy. One thing is for sure, this definately wasn't scripted for him to say beforehand  I don't think it will have upset too many though, and most will probably be in agreement with him. Still can't believe he said it though
  8. OMG :o Can't believe he came out with that  I guess he feels strongly about the issue, but I'm surprised he should make a mistake on daytime tv like that  I do totally agree with him though!
  9. She does, can't think why :D Goodnight :)
  10. Thank you! It's my pleasure as always :) Sally has kindly allowed me to post the pics I took of her and D here. I love the friendly expression on D's face in the first shot, genuinely delighted to see Sally :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/55.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/56.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/57.jpg As you can see from the pics, I didn't exactly mess up my first efforts, but it did provide a nice excuse for Sally(with a tiny bit of encouragement from me) to get this final one :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/58.jpg
  11. Here at last :) Thanks to all for the birthday wishes over on Facebook :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/41.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/42.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/43.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/44.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/45.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/46.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/47.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/48.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/49.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/50.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/51.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/52.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/53.jpg
  12. What a great review It was quite a small venue, only 420ish capacity, but I would guess there was over 400 there. It was a wonderful and very enthusiastic crowd. I got the feeling that most, if not all, had gone with the intention of having a good time, and even if the show had been half as good they would have been delighted. I've edited the best pics here at work, but can't post them until I get home. There are no masterpieces, but some reasonable results given the circumstances :)
  13. No flashing from me Spam  I'd already rung up about photographs, and had been told that the theatre doesn't stop people taking them unless requested to do so by the artist/production. About 10 mins into the show one of the theatre ladies waved her finger and indicated no photos! I waited until the interval and checked with another lady, who said they weren't allowed. I said that the show had made an announcement that no flash was allowed, which would indicate you could take photos without flash. The theatre people were adamant that I couldn't, so I told them to ask Darius if he minded people taking photographs. A minute later, they brought out the musical director Brian Hill, who again said photos weren't allowed. I asked him to ask Darius if Paul from dariusmusic.net(hope Rachel didn't mind me using this as a reference) could take pictures, showing him my folder of pics I was taking for D to sign/lyric for me to auction for charity. He went away and came back within 5 minutes, saying Darius was happy with me taking pics and that I should meet him after the show :) I went back to my seat, proudly announcing I could take photos, only for the original lady to come over and again tell me that I couldn't  I explained D had said I could, but she said that the theatre owner didn't want me to. She mentioned that if I wanted to take more pictures, it would be ok from the upper circle, so I had to leave the seat I'd paid for and walk up 4 flights of stairs, abandoning my poor sister for the second half :( At least I could still shoot, but from that elevated angle and about 60 feet away, decent pics were few and far between. I took lots, so I'll post my best ones later as I'm at work until 8pm tonight. After shooting a pic of Sally with D, I went away and waited for the people with CD's and programs around him to subside, then joined the last few at the back of the queue with my pics, program and Carmen program. D was wonderful as ever, kindly signing/lyricing some pictures for me to auction. I asked him about photos at the show and he said they were allowed without flash. He also said next time I should let them know that I'm part of his team and that he'd ok'd me to take piccies. I felt a surge of pride in my  at this I asked him about the 3rd album coming out and he said "when it's finished I'll have an idea". He said his musical direction had "changed again" and that it would be some time. I asked about demos of old or discarded songs, but he said his music management company wouldn't allow it :( He's still wearing the neck brace, but only at night. I mentioned the lady who had become paralysed from her little fall and tried to convey my concern for him, but he just seemed to go quiet. He then asked me which was my favourite of the new songs and I said Badda Bing Badda Boom. I made sure that no-one else was waiting as he was signing my pics and thanked him once he'd finished. I took one last pic of Sally with D, telling him I'd messed up the first couple, as an excuse for Sally to get another :) I hope he realises I'm not a useless photographer, but that I'm just trying to be a gentleman for some of his female fans :) Not sure how many good shots I'll have, but as mentioned, I'll post the best ones here when I get chance. The show was good, but some of the big band tunes were a little boring to me as it's not the style of music I like. I did love them playing In The Mood though. It sounded wonderful live, bringing back memories of my now sadly departed mother-in-law, who used to love it :) Darius actually got some words wrong in some of the songs, most noteably in Devil In You :o He covered ok, but it was a surprise to me.
  14. A few pics for now, but report will have to wait til tomorrow as I'm at work in a few hours. Lovely to see Sally there though. Got a lovely pic of her and D :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/36.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/37.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/38.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/39.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20HOTBBT%20Lincoln/40.jpg
  15. Just back, enjoyed the show but got busted for taking photos :o Photos were allowed but they still stopped me  I'll explain more in my report. Never seems to go smooth for me though
  16. Just contacted the Theatre Roayl at Lincoln and they say it's virtually sold out with just a few seats left inthe circle I booked weeks ago, before they had even advertised the show on their own site. I had my choice from the whole theatre but was told front row could have been a little neck cricking, so opted for row C centrally. Hope to get some good pics(if allowed) and to enjoy the show :)

That's really sad :( Just makes you wonder if we've had one already

I was thinking about that with the videos I didn't post on Youtube from the busk  We are kind to speakers aren't we :D I will, but I'm not keen on facebook. I don't like the lack of control you seem to have over what you are doing and who knows what about you on there etc! Another thing that really bugs me is the chat feature. Every time I've been contacted by someone I reply but they don't seem to receive it, it's very frustrating.

Now that's a Youtube video I'd like to see :D any chance Meg?
  20. Great pics Meg and good to know pics are allowed. Looks like the lighting was pretty good too, hope it's the same at Lincoln on Sunday :)
  21. Thanks Chris :) Meg was photography allowed during the show? I see from your facebook page you snapped a few of him in action :kink:
  22. Sounds like it was a good evening :) Was the place full? What was the reception like? If he's lined up all these dates for 2011 it must be selling well :)
  23. Nice positive write up. I hope everyone going tonight has a wonderful time and can meet up and say hello to Mr C :)
  24. I'm on from about 4mins 20 to 4 mins 24ish http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20At%20Crewe%2028-8-2010/34.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b252/PaulHardy/Darius%20At%20Crewe%2028-8-2010/33.jpg Not a pretty sight though after the rain but then again when am I
