  1. Feed Your Love is fantastic. What a treat for the fans. I can see that it would've been too risque for their audience at the time. Mel B sounds divine. Feel Me Now vibes
  2. Think Art because she's the most polished after Scarlet. Want Kita, of those remaining. But would've loved Maxi to win.
  3. Bit of a boring song for such a fierce performer, but she did a great job. She brought some variety in her vocal delivery. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing the link!
  4. I want Pandora to win. I want her to believe in her talent and to have sourced some high-end looks for the judges. But I don't think she's a front runner. So I'll take a Ginger win, if not.
  5. Fave: NGUOTGT Least: Lady is a Vamp - only because I wouldn't listen to it in isolation. All the others I get a little craving for occasionally. But it's still great as part of the album (and a live show!!!)
  6. I was on the fence with the single art for Say Something and Magic. I can see the left-field early 80s vibe they're going for. But this one takes the biscuit. And I'm sorry to say the biscuit tastes bitter. It's ugly.
  7. I agree. And it's only my opinion, but I think broad ranging albums like Northern Star work so well because almost every track has a different sound to any other. Sadly, I don't think the same can be said for This Time.
  8. 'We love to entertain you' is a good song. I reckon she could've sold it to Disney for High School Musical or something similar. For me, it doesn't really fit with the album though.
  9. Agree that 'Already Gone' and 'Fragile' both deserved a place on the album. My ideal singles run would've been: • Understand • The Moment You Believe / Already Gone double a-side • Carolyna
  10. Wow. Raw and beautiful. Proud of her for giving this truthful, heart-wrenching performance. The interwoven scene of the dance and the violent struggle is particularly powerful.

  12. Never Give Up on the Good Times
  13. Sadly, I agree with most of the sentiment here. I don't think this publication is going to appeal to Emma's fanbase. But maybe she's got an informative new angle that will bring something different to her book. I could see her having a great point-of-view on a modern gender-neutral approach. That could garner her some success, with the right publicity.
  14. I swear the scripts were better then. Cheesy, yes, but the stories actually moved along at a pace. These days soaps tend to show characters having the same conversations over and over again. I miss the cartoonish style of the Aussie soaps in the 80s/90s. It was a fun time.
  15. Funny hearing Lorraine say how old she was then. By my maths she was about 37. Not old at all these days.
  16. Something Kinda Funny vs. If U Can't Dance Do It vs. Saturday Night Divas Never Give Up on the Good Times vs. Love Thing Looks like a divisive round. 5 great tracks, one good track... possibly written in an attempt to attract a Nike endorsement, who can say. :P
  17. Crikey! Really hope this is for a book. It seems a lot of what we saw at the time were the more static shots. Obviously, those worked in the context. But Mel B's more energetic poses - they look pretty iconic.
  18. Symone cemented herself as my winner this episode. But also, Gottmik was pretty flawless. They all did well in the music video. But Kandy could easily have been given the chop. Her runway was basic in comparison to the others. But she's had too much screen time at this point. Rose's gown definitely brought some drama. If the wig had more volume at the top, it would've balanced out the bulkiness of the gown. The biggest shame is that Denali would've smashed this week.
  19. Something Kinda Funny vs. Last Time Lover Never Give Up on the Good Times vs. Move Over Love Thing vs. If U Can’t Dance Denying vs. Do It Get Down with Me vs. Saturday Night Divas These were all very close. I voted for If U Can't Dance as a fantastic album track that offers a surprising sound, but wouldn't work as a single. Even though 'Love Thing' could've been a single. It's just less unique on the album.
  20. Baby Come Round vs. Do It Christmas Wrapping vs. Last Time Lover Step to Me vs. Love Thing Denying vs. Bumper to Bumper Saturday Night Divas vs. If You Wanna Have Some Fun Something Kinda Funny vs. Move Over Get Down with Me vs. Outer Space Girls Never Give Up on the Good Times vs. Oxygen If U Can’t Dance vs. Take Me Home Much easier this time. But 'Step to Me' was a hard one to vote against.
  21. Love Thing vs One of These Girls Walk of Life vs Oxygen My Strongest Suit vs Get Down with Me Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves [Live] vs Last Time Lover Time Goes By vs Denying Christmas Wrapping vs Baby Come Round Ain’t No Stopping Us Now [Live] vs Saturday Night Divas Naked vs Never Give Up on the Good Times If U Can’t Dance vs Sleigh Ride Wasting My Time vs Bumper to Bumper If You Wanna Have Some Fun vs The Lady Is a Vamp Spice Invaders vs Outer Space Girls Take Me Home vs We Are Family [Live] Right Back at Ya vs Move Over Step to Me vs Tell Me Why Do It vs Voodoo Weekend Love vs Something Kinda Funny Poor Naked. A cool song in its time, but didn't stand a chance against the majesty of NGUOTGT. It was tough deciding between Right Back at Ya and Move Over. But I always loved that Pepsi ad. Really would love My Strongest Suit if it wasn't for the lyric "tonight my droppings will not be subdued". Sounds like someone's having tummy troubles.
  22. That top two was the right result for me. I flip-flop between preferring 'Blame It On Me' and 'Who I Am'. I think that's mainly because I overplayed 'Who I Am' early on. I was blown away by that production when it was released. I was obsessed.
  23. A bit obvious perhaps, but I'd go with: 1. Wannabe 2. Say You'll Be There 3. Love Thing 4. 2 become 1 5. Stop 6. Who Do You Think You Are 7. Too Much 8. Saturday Night Divas 9. Spice Up Your Life 10. Move Over 11. If You Can't Dance 12. Never Give Up On The Good Times 13. Denying 14. Viva Forever I've decided to have 'Wannabe' as the opener, attempting to build up to 'Spice Up Your Life'. I surprised myself by including 'Denying', but it's a great mid-tempo track. I have new appreciation for how perfectly it leads into 'Viva Forever'.
  24. As much I would personally have loved to see Limbo as a single, I voted other. I think 'Did it Again' was her most commercial song on the album, whilst also representing Kylie. The Manics songs are not for me. I think 'Breathe' could've been very commercial with a bit more tempo. So could also have worked as a lead, with a better single mix. My ideal run would've been 'Did It Again', 'Breathe', 'Cowboy Style' and then 'Limbo' as a risky, surprise finish to the campaign.
  25. For me, those two tracks exemplify the progression that Melanie has made with this album. They're fabulous. 'Who I Am' has slicker, more well-rounded production. And I do love it. But the lyrics to these two are more light-hearted, which is great to hear from our girl.
