  1. How about Ryan Kwanten who went from the hilarious Vinnie in 'Home & Away' to the immensely crush-able Jason Stackhouse in 'True Blood'.
  2. Really enjoying this thread Joseph. Very interesting to hear your take on Melanie's career through fresh ears. It's interesting to read that you've noticed some mis-steps with single choices, that have bugged fans for years. I wonder if you've listened to many of Melanie's b-sides? I think you'll find a few gems there. In my opinion, some even overshadow the single track. For example, I found 'Love to You' and 'Like That' both more exciting than 'Here It Comes Again'. 'Stronger' is another great one.
  3. I still remember the bitter disappointment when I bought the SUYL single second-hand years later and THAT was the b-side. I felt ripped off having only paid £1 for it.
  4. I Turn To You (Hex Hector Radio Mix) gets my vote. I also love 'Take Me Home' but I guess it's fairly obscure. ITTY really honours the theme, so I think that will be appreciated by voters. It shows the power of a great remix.
  5. Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers Katy Perry - Hot N Cold Little Mix - Black Magic Madonna - Frozen P!nk - Who Knew Spice Girls - Say You'll Be There Never been a P!nk fan. But this competition is warming me to her.
  6. Britney Spears - Everytime Katy Perry - Wide Awake Kylie Minogue - The One Lady Gaga - Alejandro Madonna - La Isla Bonita Rihanna - Rehab Spice Girls - Viva Forever That was a tough one. There are some fairly iconic songs in that list. Not usually a Britney fan but that song is a work of art.
  7. If you vote for Naked, I hear the Spice forum will do the chair dance for you. You won't regret it. They'll even wear pig tails. Sold? Thought so.
  8. 'Version of Me' is a bit more chilled. But there are similarities with the types of sounds used. I'd recommend 'Escalator', 'Version of Me' and 'Blame'. But 'Numb' is the closest thing to a dance track.
  9. The video is a dream come true for me as spice fan, anime enthusiast and 90's child. Yes yes yes!
  10. Ariana Grande - ghostin' Dua Lipa - Garden Kylie Minogue - Fragile Lady Gaga - Is That Alright? Little Mix - Towers Spice Girls - Naked Taylor Swift - All Too Well Zara Larsson - I Can't Fall In Love Without You
  11. On first listen it's an absolute banger. Love it just as much as Who I Am. Yes Melanie. Give us what we want!
  12. Voted. Snatch that BBC Radio 2 award girls ... And maybe Melanie C will get playlisted in future!
  13. I blame this performance for making me think I was straight in my teenage years. Haha Plenty to acquaint myself with in this list before I vote.
  14. Possibly my favourite Bunton track. But I thought you have to be a bit of an old soul to love this one, which is why I didn't mention it myself. Nice to know it has another fan out there.
  15. I love the Street Fighter vibes of the video. Melanie is having so much fun with this era! I love it.
  16. It was definitely cool in the nineties. And the first chair I ever bought was absolutely influenced by THAT performance. Never got the opportunity to recreate such a moment though. If we enter it, someone should share that iconic performance in the thread straight away!
  17. Shock result for me. Even though I initially felt the Emma tracks weren't all that ballad-y, the way she sings TMT is hauntingly beautiful and emotive. Also rediscovering 'No Sign of Life' - it has given me some 'Too Much' vibes. Even the structure, you could imagine it being sung by the group. Eep. Fingers-crossed.
  18. For me it's Too Many Teardrops. It's got the strongest first minute of the options here. It really grabs you from the get-go.
  19. Yep. That's pretty luscious - especially in the strings department. Quite Spice-y actually.
  20. Oh yes please! Is that a ballad? I sure dance to it.
  21. I agree with you on this. Sorry to say. I love the song but I think the marginally (intentionally?) discordant "Dro-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-ow-own" is might kill it for non-fans
  22. Don't get me wrong, I love Naked. But I imagine we'll be up against so some belting vocals. I also rate Melanie C 'Version of Me'. But I'll stop now with the suggestions. Thanks for getting us through again!
  23. There are so many options for this one. I also rate 'Loving Days' but it's quite left-field I guess. Also 'If You Don't Love Me' has some pretty impressive, raw vocals from Kylie.
  24. 'Dreams' and 'Sleeping with the Enemy' both stunning options. But what about the ballad version of 'I Believe In You' from Abbey Road Sessions? Or does that count as version of a single? It's been on adverts, which could help with recognition.
  25. Woohoo! I would probably go for a Melanie C solo for this round again. We need to send an amazing vocal performance. And I think Melanie has more ballads with impressive, rich orchestration. 'Closer' or 'Enemy' would be a couple of my favourites of hers. Would 'The Sea' qualify even?
