  1. I'd love for Kylie to work with Cerrone. His sound has all the hallmarks of classic disco, but he makes it work in a modern pop landscape. 2016's 'Red Lips' album is a good example of that.
  2. Ooh fun idea. I voted for 'Wow' for my fave because it was stronger than the actual lead single for that campaign. But I expect 'On A Night Like This' to win that vote (which is fantastic, of course). For least fave I've voted for 'I Was Gonna Cancel' as it was a death blow at a crucial point of Kylie's career.
  3. Maybe. And also, not a single but I think they'd do a lovely job of 'Suddenly Monday' as a group.
  4. That is stunning.
  5. Personally, I think SWTE would've struggled to get noticed as a single. Much as I loved that track and bemoan IWGC as a single choice. Possibly the main reason I like Les Sex is because it would've grabbed some attention as a single. Would've had to be dealt with more tastefully than Sexercise promo though (which should probably never have happened, much as I enjoyed it).
  6. 'Sleeping With The Enemy' for me too. But 'If Only' and 'Kiss Me Once' are fairly decent. 'Les Sex' and 'Sexercise' are definite guilty pleasures. I struggled with the album for a while too. But there's a good playlist to be had if you combine the better tracks with her Moroder and Garibay collabs.
  7. Absolutely right there.
  8. #13 is still an achievement. No shame in it.
  9. I love it. Always have. It suits her. But then, I always liked the original too. I think the song is divisive and her young audience of the time weren't interested in an 80s throwback. The video was not what any fans wanted from her either. A bit too grown up and surreal. I suspect the live performances were low energy because Mel had only recently given birth. So didn't get to showcase her impressive dance ability. But on reflection, I don't think she should consider it a flop. Despite all that stuff, it still charted quite well. And now her fans are older, they can appreciate where she was going with it. She should be proud.
  10. Viva Forever. Today anyway.
  11. Really enjoying these Youtube Q&A's. I don't know if she's decided a title for these. But I reckon it ought to be called "Mel-o-vation" (referencing the lyric in 'Move Over').
  12. Too Much.
  13. I do love it but it's time for me to vote for Saturday Night Divas.
  14. Haha. I really don't see why this is in any way controversial.
  15. If she does a sparkling one, I'm there. Love it. And if the supermakets are the only shops staying open during lock down, people will be after some luxury products to stave off the boredom. Could work out well.
  16. Yes I really enjoyed that interview. I love how she doesn't seem to mind telling some of the same old stories, but always gives us something new too. She seems to be in a good place right now.
  17. Has to be 'Do It'.
  18. Do It. It works really nicely as background music in Spice World The Movie. But it's definitely only an album track. Whereas, for me, all the others remaining had single potential.
  19. For me, Step to Me happened just right. It's very singular in its sound, so wouldn't fit on any of their albums. But it has an edge which fitted with Pepsi at the time. And Mel B's rap is so good.
  20. Lady is a Vamp. I don't listen to it anymore because it's just a bit cheesy but I really enjoy it live. Wish they'd written some lyrics for "she's a da-da-da-da da-da-da"
  21. Painfully slow episode. Agree that Heidi should've won. She's got a lot of character without being obnoxious. A rare quality. Sherry and Brita showed their own unprofessionalism in suggesting that Aiden was a poor leader. A good leader recognises the strengths of their team members and capitalises on them. If Aiden had been a poor leader, Sherry wouldn't have been allowed to shine, and therefore win the ep.
  22. Denying for me. It's a solid album track but it lacks the positive energy of the rest of the album.
