Melanie C: 2010s Decade - Singles Survivor
I voted for 'Anymore' because of the similarities to 'Can't Feel My Face'. It feels just a little more derivative than 'Think About It'. Although I do think that her vocals are gorgeous in 'Anymore'.

Get Outta My Way vs Into The Blue
Get Outta My Way – great for so many reasons.

Melanie C: 2010s Decade - Singles Survivor
Weak as it's the least catchy of the remaining songs. But I do love it.

Melanie C: 2010s Decade - Singles Survivor
I find Weak quite dramatic and moving. And it has some of my favourite Melanie vocals. But it was an odd choice, given all the obvious single material on The Sea. In any case, I'm voting for Dear Life again.

Aphrodite or Golden
I voted for Golden because it offers more variety and emotional depth. But Kylie's career is under-pinned by records like Aphrodite, so I see the value in both.

Melanie C: 2010s Decade - Singles Survivor
I went for 'Dear Life'. It's a beautiful song but I wouldn't have chosen it as a single. 'Rock Me' and 'High Heels' are definitely less worthy artistically. But they, at least, stood a chance of catching someone's ear. As an aside, I was very surprised when I heard 'High Heels' in a café in central London this week.

Melanie C feat. Sink the Pink - 'High Heels'
Lily Savage was hardly a good representation of real LGBT people. She was a comedy character. And while I appreciate a good comedy drag act, without the context of real LGBT people on the telly, it was about as progressive as a panto dame. Sink The Pink on the other hand, demonstrate that real queer people are relevant, empowered and talented. They are not just a punchline in a very tired, old joke.

Melanie C feat. Sink the Pink - 'High Heels'
I don't know what Cheryl is up to. But I've never seen her do anything this interesting. With that performance, on that show, Melanie has done something truly beneficial for the LGBT community. Think about the young, queer kids who may have seen that performance. There's such a strong message in those lyrics. Put on your high heels, be different, love yourself. This video kind of says just that:

Melanie C feat. Sink the Pink - 'High Heels'
I don't know why anyone is trolling the New Year's performance. I thought it was fantastic. Very solid live vocals with such an energetic dance routine... I think she smashed it. Well done Melanie! She does her fans proud.

Sleigh Ride or Christmas Wrapping?
I voted for Sleigh Ride, but only because I've edited out all of the shouting in the version I listen to.

Mel B • General Discussion
I'd love to see a second Missy Elliot duet. A dream scenario would be Lizzo too. But I guess that's incredibly unlikely. Unless she happens to be a massive Spice fan

Emma Bunton - Live at Royal Albert Hall
What a fantastic show. It was my first time seeing Baby Spice live as a solo artist. And she didn't disappoint. Emma's voice is incredibly strong these days. Comparing last night's performance to the Spice World 98 tour – you can tell she's been working on her voice over the years. Of course, she has always had that warm, sweet tone. But now, boy can she belt it out. What's more, she was a natural on stage – exuding personality and charisma. She was every inch the pop super star. The whole production was carefully choreographed and every song brought something new. A great deal of attention had been given to creating a cohesive show. And yet she managed to weave together so many hits. 'Maybe' was a personal highlight. That dance routine alone was a spectacle to witness. Yet I also appreciated the swing-styled 'Say You'll Be There' and 'What Took You So Long'. I'd personally love to buy a live recording of 'Emma Bunton's Christmas Party'. It was a dream.

Game: Ultimate Solo Package - The Results!
Totally agree. She had it all. Should've got off the cigs though. It's sad to think that this may prove to be her peak as a solo artist. With the exception of the songs you mention, it's a disjointed album with too many session singers - those girls deserved a featured credit.

🇬🇧 RDPR UK // S1 E8 // Finale
I didn't find The Vivienne at all endearing but she was the right winner. She will make an amazing web series. Her ability to portray a range of characters means she could play every role if she wanted. She could do a one woman sketch show. She'll be fantastic. I do like Divina but I don't think her drag personality is anywhere near as entertaining as Viv. For me, Baga is ahead of her in that respect too. Baga is still the one who's live show I'd most want to see.

Emma Bunton - 'Coming Home for Christmas' + 'Santa Baby'
Agreed. Emma's voice sounds beautiful throughout. Flawless.

Not Such an Innocent Girl or A Mind of Its Own?
NSAIG gets my vote. Have never enjoyed listening to AMOIO. It's just too cheesy.

Melanie C feat. Sink the Pink - 'High Heels'
For me, I don't find a big budget impressive. Not sure I understand the preoccupation with that. It's not 1998 anymore. I enjoy the creativity on a small budget. The lighting, styling and cinematography all show professional technique. Yes, a few of the black and white sections are bit rougher. But that's a small part of a glorious whole. The concept is strong, the narrative is clear and sporty spice is dancing in a music video again. So much to be grateful for.

Melanie C feat. Sink the Pink - 'High Heels'
I feel like we're on the same page. I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously. It's all about the joy. The girl is enjoying herself. And I'm fully on board.

Melanie C feat. Sink the Pink - 'High Heels'
Love the song. Love the video. It's a camp masterpiece. Sure the lyrics aren't high-brow. But they are meaningful. It's liberating and joyful. I'm thrilled to see Melanie owning her sporty spice pop persona in her solo work. It's like she's really accepting her whole self and all she's achieved.

Emma Bunton - 'Coming Home for Christmas' + 'Santa Baby'
'Coming Home For Christmas' sounds gorgeous!
