  1. IWGC clearly buoyed up by a pretty amazing cover photo. So much more personality in that one shot than in the whole of the video!
  2. If they continued to work together beyond the current tour, I'd be over the moon. Even if they're just selling crisps. I really don't mind.
  3. Agreed! Before the Deconstruction era Kylie's music wasn't unique to her. It was the SAW sound. After IP, everything she's done has her own personal stamp on it.
  4. '2 Hearts' is very singular on the album. But it's a sound I'd like to hear more of from Kylie. All be it, with a slightly lighter touch. Borns, for example, has the vibe of a modern Glam-rock/T-rex sound. And Goldfrapp has also done it successfully in the past. I'd really enjoy something similar from Kylie. But first, more disco please!
  5. Loving this competition, and your song selections. Slightly worried we're soon to run out of possible winners though  Was expecting 'Say You'll Be There' to be saved for the final round. But I suppose we've still got 'Viva Forever'. Interested to see how this plays out!
  6. Me too. Probably the most tasteful thing Geri ever did!
  7. Yes. I reckon that must be the reason. Roc Nation were hardly Kylie's greatest champions, even while she was with them.
  8. 'Into The Blue' because it's glorious and it would fit well with the rest of the compilation. I can understand why some the Deconstruction singles were omitted, much as I love most of them. They might confuse the new listeners she'll pick up after Glastonbury. I also feel that ITB represents the KMO era in the most positive light. And an un-broken career like Kylie's deserves to be showcased as such.
  9. What is keeping the 'Feels So Good' video in this poll? The 20 second dance routine? Mel B's good weave? Surely it's not the bad weave.
  10. I also like the art direction on the X era, broadly speaking. For me though, the colour palette of the album cover is quite unpleasant and discordant. '2 Hearts' cover is better in that respect. But I preferred the neon blues and pinks that were used elsewhere - such as in the calendar.
  11. I'll admit I fast forwarded through most of this episode. It was very boring up until the lip syncs.
  12. How was Yvie's brown dress not a reveal? Throughout the whole thing, I was thinking "She's leaving this reveal very late". Haha! And, I hate to say it, but if the winner is supposed to be judged on lip syncs alone, Brooke Lynn probably deserved the win more. She gave so much more energy.
  13. Feels So Good Carolyna Carolyna
  14. That is amazing! Love that arrangement. Mel B and Melanie C's dance break is everything! 'Holler' was a highlight on the last tour too. Such a great song. Still sounds fresh.
  15. Agreed. I guess some people find it too tacky? I don't know. But then, this is the Spice Girls forum?! When this video came out, I was happy to see Melanie having fun with her music again. She seemed to be taking herself less seriously at last. And she's such a great dancer. So it was nice to see that talent on show. The song is not her best but I understand it was a business decision. And her vocal is top-notch as usual. Shame the film flopped.
  16. I second all of this. Why would a writer scratch around in the minutiae, looking for something to be upset about, instead of seeing all the very intentional, positive messaging in the show. They have always celebrated humanity in all its variety. She should work for 'The Sun', not 'The Guardian'.
  17. The writer of that Guardian review is obviously trying very hard to ignore every joyful moment of the performance. It's like she wasn't even there. Desperate to inject some bile, she's more focussed on all the tabloid nonsense that surrounds the group, rather than the show in front of her. How the hell does she know anything about their personal values? Bet she doesn't get a lot of party invites.
  18. This Time x 3 Surprised TMYB has gone in all three categories. Love the song but I did vote against the clunky cover design.
  19. This episode was the most meh I've ever felt. Apart from Vanjie's fillers, which just made me sad. What qualified person would do that to her lovely face?
  20. Ooh, costume sketch on Vogue website. Love the platforms! Vogue Spice Girls costumes
  21. You're right, of course. I'd hoped that she might be up for the challenge. It's not like Victoria sang any difficult parts (except maybe on 'Holler'). Hadn't noticed no 'Saturday Night Divas' :o Thought we'd get that one as it's been on their social media.
  22. If these reports are true, Geri has been given less lines than I'd expected. But then, Mel B is a safe pair of hands in terms of live performance. In terms of the setlist... I know it's not a greatest hit, but I loved their live version of 'Step To Me'. Mel B's rap was so good. Would've loved that over a cover.
  23. Geri looks sensational with the red hair. Really makes her eyes pop. Now she just needs to wear a red 'Jessica Rabbit' dress again on the tour.
  24. I think 'When You're Gone' would be worth a shot if we needed to hold back our big hitters. I'd expect that song to have wide appeal.
  25. Took me 2 ½ minutes. I'm a slow typist anyway but I got stumped at the end on an album track from 'Spice'. That really surprised me.
