I could definitely see every gay and his mum singing to 'Strength of a Woman' in the car. And you're probably right about 'Feels Like Sex'. It might've been quite shocking at the time. Probably should've used one of her metaphors on that one.

I just think, after the first chorus, you've heard all SIYWGF has to offer. It's definitely a perfect album opening track though. I wish I could connect to it more. But I don't listen and think "Yeah, I wanna go faster." Which is weird, because I definitely wanted to "Bag It Up". And I had no idea what that one meant.

This era started with such promise! Then the follow up singles came. I wanted them to release 'Feels Like Sex' and 'Circles Around The Moon' after IRM. I always imagined 'Circles' to have an animated video like the intro to Bewitched TV series. Even 'Don't Call Me Baby' has more going for it as a single than 'Scream If You Wanna Go Faster'. For me, it was a fairly strong album, poorly represented by the choice of singles.

Gorgeous cheese. Brings back so many happy childhood memories for me. Those naively melancholic lyrics, contrasted with pure pop froth... How can it not make you smile?

You would miss out 'X' and 'Kiss Me Once' altogether ?! :o

I liked the idea of the interchangeable 'Schizophonic' covers too. But in my opinion, none of the photography was as beautiful or considered as the 'Northern Star' cover. That image is a work of art.

That 'Northern Star' cover is a highlight of the era for me. For once Melanie's styling is spot on. And the lighting is gorgeous. It really captures the drama and atmosphere of the album. Geri's is nice, but fairly low effort by comparison.

'The Sea' again. Nice concept, but execution and styling could be better.

It's all about the Spice World logo tees for me! Gonna cut the sleeves off one a la Sporty Spice.

I just want to remind everyone that 'I Turn To You' cover was printed metallic gold... GOLD!

I honestly would've loved '2 Become 1' as a solo. As a commercial decision, I understand Emma's thinking on the duet. It could've been good. But Robbie murdered it for me. It's as though he's trying too hard to demonstrate his vocal range, rather than honouring the soulful nature of the song.

Sorry, I meant underrated by the judges... specifically in their original seasons. It's nice to see they're appreciated on here. AS1 was a mess because of the pairing format. They should all get a do-over!

Has Kylie ever been represented? If not, she deserves to be featured in the UK version. I'd love to see 'What Do I Have To Do?' (single mix with "Let's get a little information to work with") or 'Better The Devil You Know'.

Jujubee and Manila Luzon. For me, both were better all-rounders than the winners of their respective seasons.

I'll never understand why Geri is a tory. She claims to come from poverty. Surely she should support those who work for their success, just like she did. But then, she is as mad as a box of frogs. So why look for the logic?

I think Mel B is a big part of the band though. They wouldn't be the Spice Girls without her look and attitude. They'd be Girls Aloud. I can't imagine them ever performing without Scary.

Agree on Emma's low vocal range. Smooth as velvet. Personally, I don't really listen to 'Come Away With Me'. I've always found that song a bit boring. Totally agree on the vocals though. Josh was a good choice.
