  1. Let's not forget 'Come Together'. Have to say I prefer the original to Victoria's interpretation :P
  2. 'Holler' is definitely pop enough for Geri to handle. I welcome her inclusion. She'll be fab.
  3. My unpopular opinion... Mel B is arguably the most naturally gifted performer of the band. She has a broad vocal range that she rarely demonstrates. She has an obvious warm, soothing quality in her lower register, but also a pleasant, easy higher register. Her dance ability comes naturally. And she's always looked stunning. She owned the 'Forever' era.
  4. Freak Like Me. I prefer their own song writing generally. But it's still great, obviously.
  5. Take My Breath Away. Never been one of my fave singles but didn't want to waste a vote earlier on.
  6. Take My Breath Away. Never been one of my fave singles but didn't want to waste a vote earlier on.
  7. Loving 'Too Many Teardrops'. Emma's voice really is stronger than ever. I love the slightly haunting vocal and the 'wall of sound' production style. The echoey distortions are lush.
  8. ‘What I am’. ‘I’ll be there’ is fun and catchy. I think it was a perfect single. I want it to stay in a while yet.
  9. I did not know that. 'Quand J'ai Peur De Tout' is great. But I can't help but feel Sugababes added more to that song. It really suits their group harmonies.
  10. Freak Like Me. Just because it's a cover version.
  11. ‘Push The Button’ for me. It’s quite generic in comparison to the others. It could be almost any girl band in the last 20 years. But I still rate it. 😉
  12. We’re not gonna sleep tonight. I’m a fan of Crickets. But everyone coming does make me laugh. So I can understand why some people might cringe. I’d agree there were better single choices on the album.
  13. Come into my world I believe in you Red blooded woman
  14. My dream singles run from 'A Girl Like Me' would have been: 'What I Am' 'What Took You So Long' 'High On Love' 'Better Be Careful' 'A World Without You'
  15. I Believe In You Still very good. But such a strong round. Come Into My World Just for the drab wardrobe and styling really. The concept is fantastic. Chocolate Not the most exciting single of her career.
  16. 'Push The Button'
  17. I can see why Amelle would want this. But I hope it doesn't happen for Jade's sake. She's much better off pursuing her west end career (where she's actually welcome and appreciated).
  18. 'Downtown' for me too. Emma did a wonderful job. I think I actually prefer it to the original, because it's less shouty and alarming. But they should've gone with 'Take Me To Another Town' as the lead single. It's absolute gold. And the video basically makes itself. Don't mind WNGST as a song. It just needs four other girls in it!

Very excited by the prospect of this adaptation. Completely in love with the books. The first was actually my favourite. I think the film did a fair job too. Visually, it was superb. And the soundtrack was incredible. But if I remember correctly, the film downplayed the religious theme, opting for a political analogy. Hopefully the BBC will be more faithful to the books in that respect.
  20. She was great! So good to see a Spice Girl singing live on prime time (other than Melanie C). 'Here Comes The Sun' snippet sounded very nice too.
  21. 'Chocolate' least favourite single cover 'Red Blooded Woman' least favourite video 'Chocolate' least favourite song. This is the toughest round yet! Such quality here.
  22. The video makes me smile. It's about her happy place. So it links with the theme of the album. And she looks sensational. If I had that figure, I wouldn't bother with trousers either.
  23. So thrilled by 'Baby Please Don't Stop'. It's like Dusty Springfield and Emma Peel had a sassy love child. Living for those tambourines.
  24. Yes! 'A World Without You' should have been a single!
