  1. Where the wild roses grow
  2. I really expected 'Put Yourself in My Place' to win. Clean, impactful design and a beautiful photo of Kylie. It still feels fresh today. WTWRG is good, but the typography is a bit clunky. The imagery, while sophisticated and poetic, doesn't have the immediate impact of the other two. To me, Kylie is a little lost on this cover.
  3. Yes! This is the best news. I wonder what it will be. Hoping for an upbeat bossa nova number. A little bit 'Breathing', a little bit 'Take Me To Another Town'.
  4. Where is the feeling

  6. What Kind of Fool
  7. Easy and Change, again. Poor Run For Cover. Love that single. Their voices are so young, but their lyrics are so deep. Amazing. I am also still mourning the loss of 'New Year'. At the time, it was such a stark contrast to the Spice Girls' Christmas singles that came before it. Really fresh.
  8. I like the artistic intention of the 'Confide In Me' cover. The grainy, almost haphazard snapshot feels like a cctv image. It fits with the 'black mirror' to society that is the accompanying video. The crop also creates an air of mystery. Which made me think, 'Who is Kylie now?' That seemed appropriate for the era of reinvention that was heralded in by this single. But all that said, it could've been done more skilfully from a design perspective. To me, the typography is unsympathetically placed on that beautiful face.
  9. Confide in me Can’t get you out of my head Better the devil you know All the lovers Slow Spinning around Dancing Into the blue Hand On Your Heart I should be so lucky 2 Hearts Some Kind of Bliss Word is out
  10. Celebration. Those colours make a little sick in my mouth.
  11. Celebration. Easily the least interesting or inventive.
  12. The dynamic relationship between typography and image on the 'Shocked' cover wins it for me. 'Word Is Out' design is sophisticated and understated, which I love. But I find it slightly mis-matched to the song because of that.
  13. 'Easy' and 'Angels With Dirty Faces'
  14. 'At Christmas' for me. But I'm loving all of this top 4!

  16. I chose 'Freedom'. Although I had nothing against the line up. It's just a bit bland. I actually thought 'Sweet 7' was a return to form after 'Catfights and Spotlights'. But they probably should've changed their name after Keisha left. 'No Can Do', 'Change' and 'My Love is Pink' also rate fairly low for me. But I love the first four albums.
  17. I went for 'Into the Blue' too
  18. I've completed it too. That was a lot of fun. Do we get to read your dissertation? :D
  19. Don't usually like obviously sped up vocals on a remix. But happy to make an exception for this sparkly little number.
  20. Still 'Do It' for me. I love 'Naked' for Emma's amazing monologue. "I just wanna be me".
  21. To me, 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' is a nice homage to Frank Sinatra. It's similar to David Bowie's duet with Bing Crosby in that respect. It feels as though Frank is still here. I find it very charming. But I appreciate some people may find it a bit odd.
  22. 'Christmas Wrapping' and 'Wonderful Christmastime' because the guest vocalists do not appeal to me. And neither comes close to the original version, imo. And 'Oh Santa' because it's too similar (and inferior) to 'Santa Baby'.
  23. Bless her. She's so emotional. But she's made the right choice. Every time she mentions the new album, I get a little more excited. Feels like it's really going to happen now. :yahoo:
