  1. 'Here It Comes Again'... again
  2. I love both. But I couldn't vote for 'X' because I revisit it all the time. I know that's more because of the leaked tracks. But it's just very dear to me. It was an exciting time to be a Kylie fan because she was still so relevant. And I had a great time at the live show.
  3. I feel bad about it, but if I had to live without any of the remaining, it'd be 'Aphrodite'. There's only one track I absolutely love.
  4. I know some people find 'Fine' uplifting. But it has the opposite effect on me. When I'm crying in the night, the last thing I want to hear is a vocoder. :kink:
  5. That's just the bit that I don't like, that's why I quoted it. It just drones through these repetitive, negative lyrics. The song just feels very whiney to me. Just my opinion, don't mean to offend.
  6. I've tried quite hard to disassociate 'Goin Down' from its obnoxious video. As a song in it's own right, I don't mind it too much.
  7. "The night, the night, the night is full of tears You cry, you cry, you cry When you feel everything's impossible" That's just depressing. 'Fine' to go.
  8. I've voted for the 'Kylie' debut. So many fun singles. But let's face it, the album is definitely of it's time.
  9. I voted for 'Calling' too. If it'd been sung by George Michael, it'd be stunning. But it wasn't. Also voted for 'Here It Comes Again'. An underwhelming follow up to the 'Northern Star' era.
  10. Haha! I always think about Obama when I hear Mr President.... And now I've said too much...
  11. Even though I love 'Hand On Your Heart' in a nostalgic moment. For me, 'Enjoy Yourself' doesn't hold a candle to 'Impossible Princess'.
  12. Glastonbury embraces all sorts. I saw Abba tribute Bjorn Again on the pyramid stage about 10 years ago.
  13. I quite like 'Mr President'. It's a fun, saucy little number. But more b-side quality than album track, I'd say. To me, it sounds like an amazing remix of a mediocre song. It's very much held together by the production.
  14. Surprised to see 'Tell Me' faring so badly. I remember it being well-received at the time.
  15. Enjoy Yourself (again)
  16. Fiiii- yiii- yiiine is a bit of a whiii- yiii- yiiine
  17. I'm over the moon at this news. I'd never have expected five singles to come from the album, given how the previous few have be dealt with. Suddenly the low-key releases of 'Golden' and 'A Lifetime to Repair' don't seem quite so mis-judged. Maybe it was a calculated slow burn to keep momentum going til Christmas. Can't wait to see it performed!
  18. Really expected 'Where The Wild Roses Grow' to win by a clear mile. It's nice to see such varied results.
  19. I'd have liked it as the second single from this album. If the first verse was shortened, it'd be great for radio. Don't get me wrong, I came round to 'Stop Me From Falling'. I just don't think it was different enough from 'Dancing'.
  20. If Louise can fill out Scala, surely Baby Bunton can do the same?
  21. I'd love to interpret this as some kind of a sign (that she's on board for a reunion). But I'm fairly certain she's just utterly smashed.
  22. I don't know that any single would've brought her more commercial success than those chosen. But, for me, 'Can't Beat The Feeling' delivers more punch than both 'Put Your Hands Up' and 'Get Outta My Way'. Also 'Closer', with an autumn release and a dark, sensuous video, would've done more for me than 'Better Than Today'.
  23. I'd recommend 'Sexy Love' as it's very reflective of sound of the album, and also a definite highlight. I prefer a couple of others, but they're less representative. And make sure you always skip 'Beautiful'!
  24. Same. The production is excessive in places and the campaign was handled badly. But I find it immensely listenable. I like 'Sexercise'. And I will not apologise. 'Sleeping With The Enemy' is a highlight too.
