  1. It absolutely speaks volumes. He needs to feel that he’s dealing a blow, even though he can’t reach her physically. I worry for how this might go. It’s near impossible to prove guilt in cases of domestic abuse. So, in the eyes of the law, the abuse Mel B has bravely brought to light could be deemed as false. I really hope she’s got some rock hard evidence. Such as a witness account from one of her daughters. Horrific as that would be for them to re-live.
  2. This would be a rollercoaster of an album, but here goes … 1. Maybe 2. Let Your Head Go 3. I Want You Back 4. Loving You 5. What Took You So Long 6. Mi Chico Latino 7. Northern Star 8. Feels So Good 9. Like That (VB) 10. There’s Always Tomorrow 11. Too Many Teardrops 12. Enemy
  3. Mel B doesn’t instinctively react in the way a more filtered person might. She can’t help that. I remember her once alluding to neuro divergence. So I tend to be mindful of that when these moments occur. Her point is that she wants to protect her dear friend, which comes from a place of love.
  4. I’d agree to be fair. For me, Disco is the epitome of a lockdown album. It really hit the spot, and saved us from the depths of despair. It was also a moment for Kylie to re-affirm exactly what she is known for. And that paved the way for Tension. But Golden has more carefully honed changes in pace, mood and sound (than Disco).
  5. 10 A Second to Midnight 10 Kiss of Life 9.5 Music’s Too Sad Without You 7 Can’t Stop Writing Songs About You 6.5 Dance Alone I think Dance Alone is a bit too much of a Sia song for me. I’m glad it exists and I recognise the quality. But preference-wise, I’ve listened to it much less than CSWSAY. I really wanted it to stick but it hasn’t, for me anyway.
  6. I couldn’t agree more. They should all do whatever makes them happy. I’d obviously love a five-piece, or four-piece, reunion. But I don’t think it’s on the cards. I just hope the remaining three aren’t being held back. They could easily pull off another short run of shows, even a few songs, if they wanted to.
  7. At this point, I’m just impatiently waiting for the MEM era to begin. If Take That can do it, so can Spice Girls. They would still have all their strongest vocalists.
  8. Chocolate - it’s perfectly lovely, but it never really grabbed me.
  9. I’m not the biggest fan of Madonna’s recent work myself. But I would welcome the boost in exposure for Kylie, especially right now. But I’m assuming that, in this dreamland, Kylie would have significant creative input, use world-class producers, and the song would be good.
  10. Wicked Game for me. Their vocals really bring the song to life. Still glad it wasn’t a single though.
  11. I wouldn't give two hoots if a hypothetical collab flopped. Some would say Kiss of Life flopped. But I’m so glad that exists! In my opinion, 90% of the public have terrible taste and the charts are full of tripe anyway.
  12. I’d love to see a dance banger with a slight gothic edge. Something that feels relevant to Padam but less Euro-pop. A touch more sultry perhaps … kind of like Closer from Aphrodite.
  13. Stunning work Miss Minogue - she just keeps reaching new highs. We are so lucky to exist in the same moment of history as this goddess.
  14. Thank you for sharing. I’ve played this song to death over the years. But this fresh banger is serving it up all over again.
  15. Aw thanks. Yes! I find it a really infectious little bop. Seemingly underrated. Pretty solid production-wise. And the way it’s structured, with all the variations in rhythm, means it never gets boring.
  16. This was fun to compile. And really interested to read everyone else’s choices: Kylie - Turn It Into Love Enjoy Yourself - Nothing To Lose Rhythm of Love - Things Can Only Get Better Lets Get To It - Too Much Of A Good Thing Kylie Minogue - Surrender Impossible Princess - Dreams Light Years - Disco Down Fever - Love Affair Body Language - Loving Days X - Rippin’ Up The Disco Aphrodite - Closer Kiss Me Once - Sleeping With The Enemy Kylie Christmas - Christmas Isn’t Christmas Til You Get Here Golden - Shelby ‘68 Disco - Fine Wine Tension - Vegas High
  17. Proud is the word ❤️ I’m thrilled that she’s received the recognition she deserves. Kylie owns her craft and never fails to innovate. Absolute queen.
  18. When The Rain Comes sounded amazing. Push The Button had a better arrangement than the new studio mix imo. A bit more funk/soul, a little less garage. Overload was good too but would’ve preferred Too Lost In You.
  19. Also top 0.001% - 16,685 minutes with Kylie. Padam and Tension my top two songs. Not shocked by that tbh. Cute message this year. Love her.
  20. Also LAFS gives me Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You vibes. That was also huge around that time.
  21. In Your Eyes was an instant fave for me. It has a sexiness that hits just right. I remember being surprised at how much the general public got into Love At First Sight. It was all over the radio at the time. With hindsight though, I can see why it caught on. It is pure pulsating joy.
  22. Personally, I’m really glad he is competing. But he’s obviously much more experienced than everyone else. It’s farcical to pretend otherwise. I tend warm to the celebs who seem most sincere. Which is why I like Angela S ❤️
  23. The venn diagram speaks for itself. 75% of JL customers are also Kylie lovers. Let’s be real, the homeware department is basically a low key cruising ground. So yes, piano ballad HOTN please.
  24. Loved seeing Angela S on excellent form again this week. That Black Swan routine was gorgeous. Some fairly harsh comments for her though. Wish the judges would stop telling her she’s not breathing - of course she is breathing. Right now, Ellie is my winner. Less fussed by Layton - he should just admit it’s easier for him because of his acrobatic and dance training. But I’m still pleased to see gender fluidity being normalised on the show. One more thing … Angela R was blatantly out of sync with Kai at one point. They did an out-of-hold promenade-type thing and had completely different arms. Are the judges scared of her?! Lol
  25. Bobby did really well. But that song / dance / movie combo was a little confusing for me. Angela S was easily my fave of the week. Agree about Nigel seeming a bit below par this week. Maybe the rhythm of the music wasn’t ideal for the dance style though. Looked a tad laboured.
