I do agree with this, looking at all the categories I feel like the female one has suffered a lot when, if they had moved out of categories earlier, most would still be here. There are some cracking acts in the other categories but I feel like the female one has been stacked. Then again most people wanted a female act so you suffer the consequences of having one I guess. Name of the game and all that.

Not done it weekly but most recent ranking based on last episode. Coral Hole Mandi Flesh Naya Thorn Alik Mocha - would rank her higher but that was not her episode. KY Kelly - Cannot stand that bully. 🤢

Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights (fave) Sophie Ellis Bextor - Murder on the dancefloor Adele - Skyfall Robyn - With every heartbeat Marina - Oh no Zara Larsson - Never forget you The first 4 are some of my favourite songs and 2-4 could have been in any order on different days tbf. Kate was always going to win with that classic though. Of the remaining two, while I liked both they didn't quite hit the heights of the others for me. Marina was a better track than Zara which was easily the weakest of the lot for me.

This is the weakest for me, I do like the Tom G song a lot! I'm also familiar with the Gary song but will need to listen again. The Sam Smith song is not one of my faves by him so that will be a relisten. Genuinely cannot wait to hear the Darin one, have loved all his entries so far! The Calvin and Sam Fender ones are not my faves either so... Shall be interesting I shall listen with an open mind.

I'm still shook by this list, genuinely cannot get over that Sophie, Robyn and Kate selection, to a lesser extent Adele too as it's another big hit but not on the same level. I am unfamiliar with the Zara and Marina ones but I do know the Zara one is a big hit. This round looks like a bloodbath either way!

I've had a listen to everything too... tbf I thought every round was really strong. Based on song choices alone this is how I would likely have judged were I one... Females Kate Sophie Marina (actually really shocked me to rank her so high as I haven't really been blown away by her so far) Robyn Zara Agnes Adele Leona I feel really gutted for Leona but she would have been my last place vote. Adele would also have likely left compared to the above choices with Agnes scraping through, would have felt very wrong sending her home though. All the songs are really strong tbf, the Leona one is lovely but the only slight weak link for me. Males Sam Smith (this is probably my ultimate fave Sam song!) Calvin Gary (brilliant, loved this - and he would have been my danger act too so a fab choice) Darin Tom Sam Fender Damien HRVY The HRVY one did nothing for me personally, and the Damien one neither tbh. The top 6 I really enjoyed and I loved the top 4 so I would have made the same choices. Groups Bananarama (this and I want you back are my favourite Bananrama songs so nothing was going to beat that) Texas Depeche Mode Years & Years Fontaines DC New Order Iamamiwhoami Sade Again I liked all the songs in this category tbf and I thought this was possibly the strongest of all the categories and really none deserved to go. Sade and Iamamiwhoami would have suffered though sadly, although I will say I think that was Iamamiwhoami's best submission so far.

Tbf Iz did say that Adele was in real danger of going for that reason but the song choice sent did save her as he ended up quite liking it so I guess the right Leona / Agnes songs could have had the same result for them. Have a read of their thinking a few pages back, it's really interesting actually, you can see all the thought that went into it. I'm gutted for Leona, she deserved more in her career and more in Pop Factor! 💔
