Her legacy is incredible when you think how many lives she will have saved in coming forward about her diagnosis, eventual death and the money she / her family / the band has raised as a result. It will never not be tragic she had to lose her own in order to do so though. ❣️ Saw this on a Facebook post about it being 5 years and thought I'd share. No idea how true it is, but it's a lovely read. Obviously it wasn't X Factor but Popstars, however I guess most people don't remember the different shows.

Gutted Dolly has fallen (starts obsessively streaming lol) was really hoping she would get a #1 here! Also amazing that Bananarama are still #3! Hopefully they can secure a top 10!

On a worldwide scale Fernando was their biggest overall seller though, so perhaps not so wrong. Dancing Queen though, what an iconic song!

Goodness, I missed the updates and have just looked at them, I am floored! Bananarama at #3 and selling enough to potentially stay top 10 with an album that originally charted at #46!! 100% coming to improve their initial chart position either way. I am gobsmacked they are vastly outselling Tangled Up, even with their more formats. I hope they can hold onto top 10, for such a well remembered girl band with some genuinely iconic hits, only having one top 10 studio album to their name is appalling, they deserve more. Either way looks like another top 20 to their tally. ❤️ Also Dolly Parton replacing Rein Me In at #1 would be SUCH a wonderful thing, she deserves to have at least one #1 to her name in the UK. Again, another iconic artist who should have far more chart entries to her name, the lack of top 10s (and #1s) for her is shocking with her status. Fingers crossed for both, this will be an exciting week to watch!

Oh he sang Hold me close (don't let me go) too? He is obviously one of those acts I know a few songs by but not familiar with the artist, another great song. I'm sorry to hear about your loss Mack, I have the same poignant feels when The Best by Tina Turner comes on. We played it at my grandfather's funeral as it was his favourite song, then at my wedding as he passed away just a month before we got married. ❤️

Did David Essex sing A Winter's Tale? I like that song, it's a Christmas staple for me.
