Honestly, what is going on with these girls? WHERE is this album? It's all a bit ridiculous by this point how much it is all being dragged out.

I've been looking at her Wikipedia page today and I was gobsmacked to see that she only had 2 top 10 singles in the UK, Jolene and Islands in the stream! I mean I thought 9-5 was a #1 but that in fact didn't even go top 40! 🤯 [#47]. All in all she charted 12 songs on the top 100! However something which IS quite impressive, she has achieved a top 75 hit in every decade since the 70's, two each in the 70's, 80's, 90's and then 1 in the 00's, 10's and 20's.

This is really sad, as stated above by many she wasn't just an icon in the music industry for her songwriting and contributions to country music, but she was also a truly kind person. Her charity set up to give children free books is something that isn't known enough as it is truly such a gorgeous selfless thing to do. I've never heard anyone famous or non-famous have anything negative to say about her, and that is truly rare for a celebrity to achieve and a testament to what a wonderful person she clearly was. RIP Dolly your star will always shine bright. 🌟

I mean I agree with this, I've never bought a solo / duo steps track or album, I just don't feel invested in them as solo acts. As a group there in my top favourites of all time and deserve far more credit than they get but solo none of them have that quality that pulls me in.

Can’t see a thread for this. Anyone watched Kabul on BBC iplayer? It’s about when we pulled out of Afghanistan and the Taliban took over again. A mixture of English spoken and (I’m guessing) Dari??? So has subtitles. It’s really good but also quite hard watching, i can only manage one episode at a time because it is legit making me cry watching it. Also making me so angry at people who at so unkind to immigrants / refugees. They need to watch this and then if they still feel the same they are heartless idiots. 💔
