I disagree, any era that has multiple top 40 hit singles and hits #1 on both sides of the Atlantic, then is supported by a huge sold out tour, not to mention has one of the biggest hits of the year on it... is a huge success. 🤷 Could it have been even bigger, yes. Is it huge compared to her peak success, no. Did it outdo her last era, yes. Compared to many of her peers (cough cough Katy) she is still having huge success that most artists would kill for.

The promo slots sound amazing but she has to be invited to do Glastonbury so maybe she wasn't, especially since she did Coachella already.

Honestly, this needs to do a Padam Padam and go viral, it's SUCH a good track. I'm playing it over and over "EVERYBODY GET UP AND DANCE!" It's the best song she has done since Hung Up in my opinion and deserves to be a huge smash hit, it's so criminal that the odds are stacked against it thanks to crappy playlists dominating the charts. 😣

Granted I don't know much about this case but from what I have just quickly read up on, I'm struggling to see why she has been granted a pardon? She did shoot him and she did get the death penalty sentence? You can't overturn that to life imprisonment as you cannot bring her back? It's not like Alan Turing for example who was only "guilty" because of a cruel and unjust law. All seems rather ridiculous, but the poor woman clearly suffered some horrific abuse and I hope it brings peace to her family.

I just do not get the logic of cancelling the physical release!? Unless he has something planned which might be a good promotional boost that makes it worth delaying the physical release, there is no logic behind it. The physical copies will have been made by now so they are essentially just chucking all the money they have put into it, down the drain.

Prince is such an interesting one. Undeniably an icon and a legend but not quite as big a seller as his reputation maybe? I always grew up putting him in the same league as Michael Jackson and Madonna (and creatively I think he was) but they vastly outsold him and had longer lasting success.
