Love Never Loved Me truly is the song that got away for her from this project. I have no idea how well it would've performed in 2005 as it seems that was a major solo spice backlash going on at that time however it just had all the ingredients of what Geri was about. Desire isn't a bad song its just not Geris style.

You’ll Get Yours is such a fantastic track. Would’ve made an excellent single.

One of my fave 4 piece moments however I'm not sure it would've worked as a single as the verses are so long with too much going on. Can you imagine them trying to sing those verses live I doubt the general public would be able to sing them back easily either haha

Ian Masterson should’ve produced the entire album. Outwith the Absolute team he really knew what worked for Geri. I’d love to hear more unreleased Masterson stuff from this time. :wub:

They were all so young during the peak years (96 - 01) Imagine having to go through what they went through in your 20s.

Probably my least fave of their 5 albums but hopefully it leads to the other 4 getting new stuff.

Time Goes By definitely needed more work. It has no build up throughout the song and I can’t detect a melody either.

If a rarities album did well in the charts maybe they’d be motivated to record a new album.

I wonder if the album or single version of Mama is downloaded more. I think the album version is so much stronger personally.
