  1. Its a shame she never performs I'll Be There its always been my personal fave Emma single.
  2. I often wonder how it would've performed had it been a nationwide tour instead of West end only.
  3. It’s crazy how Virgin waited 5 months to release A Mind of Its Own after Innocent Girl. That being the second single was a strange choice regardless of course. Btw how was Let Your Head Go/This Groove 19 years ago :o
  4. She’s not going to release it now it’d just get lost in the sea of Xmas tunes.
  5. Right Back At Ya original Eliot Kennedy mix seemed like the logical original comeback single. That track literally is a comeback song lyrically and I'm sure that's why they performed it at Earls Court aswell.
  6. I love her voice and personality but so not her solo music style. I wish her well though she certainly deserves an album release but if this bombs its likely no album will materialise.
  7. Forever was certainly not promoted enough and that is fact. The drastic change in sound and image however I feel most certainly went against them too of course. People say Holler/LLLTW was a success but its sales were mediocre for being the big comeback single of the Spice Girls. Even today Holler trails behind on streaming. So yeah promotion and lack of love from the girls most certainly contributed but so did the direction/quality of the material. I'll always feel Rodney Jerkins was the worst thing that ever happened to the Spice Girls.
  8. The schedule they had definitely contributed to their short career as an active band. Bands need space from each other to have longevity. This was interesting btw if a little bizarre. Have no idea what’s going on in it.
  9. Midnight Fantasy definitely should've been a single but wasnt so it is strange how its sits on that playlist.
  10. Ignorant liars like this are best ignored.
  11. I think its more impressive for the girls though as they aren't from the era of streaming like Little Mix were.
  12. I totally forgot about that Chicken shed song. Listening back I can see why. Looking back its crazy how she didnt released Free Me until almost 9 months after the first single. I think a week or two after Maybe would've been the best time to release it. I guess it all turned out well though.
  13. Given that they are both Christmas number 1s its shocking how low Too Much and Goodbye still are. 2 Become 1 is in another league of popularity.
  14. It was a pretty accurate review in all fairness. Always annoys me when they say they went RnB to fit in with what was the popular sound in 2000 though. Pure pop was still a massive success in 2000 look at Britney, S Club 7 etc
  15. I doubt many even remember this haha It’s a cute video though and a nice little time capsule of the last days of the original 5 Spice Girls in their heyday.
  16. Since returning in 2007 Geri has been fully committed to everything they’ve done so if she really the one standing in their way she’s entitled to. Nobody knows what the future will bring.
  17. People would have torn them apart had they just released an old track back in 2007. Fans wanted something new and that's what they got. The reception to that something new wasn't in their hands. Both those tracks sit well alongside the others. Holler is really the only stand out "different feel" song on the Greatest Hits.
  18. I'm so glad they released that Greatest Hits when they did. Its went on to be a consistent seller and that will carry on until it tops a million in the UK.
  19. I can see that making Victoria realise there is still big interest in Spice Girls. Her fashion videos never seem to get much interest at all in comparison.
  20. It’s a shame but with such little effort put in what can you expect besides the same back? The album deserved better for sure but I guess there could’ve just been nothing done in the first place. Even though it’s not a huge fave we did get Step To me on a mainstream release at long last. Those live tracks were inexcusable really, can’t believe they were actually green lit.
  21. Say You'll Be There is such a good song
  22. It is a nice moment especially with Victoria being there.
  23. It was Geris party, she probably was talking to multiple other guests.
  24. It’s always funny seeing various 4 girl line ups haha
  25. I wonder who wrote that? I wonder who manages their Instagram account in general actually.
