Both album went out during 1997, nine months between them. Spice probably was still charting well.

Most of the countries you listed above do not have singles charts....Mexico, Chile, etc. etc. So Virgin made up the statistics.

It's the same thing for Wannabe. I think Virgin counted probably also radio and TV charts. A lot of countries did not have an official sales chart.
