  1. I also struggle to see the point of this, it's quite well done but the content itself is boring. At this point I just hope it's a means to an end (the end being somehow pushing new music in the near future).
  2. It did really well indeed. It's (almost) her best result in 13 years, and at a time where competition is tough, with an album of old songs, and relevance also not being by her side. Very well done!
  3. IAOOL. I find it an ok track (and contemporary/Dua-sounding which is great to launch the album) with a great video, but music-wise I found myself getting tired of it quite quickly. By far the least original of the three. I love the other two.
  4. So this could quite possibly become the Christmas #1 album this year.

I imagined, the hashtagging in K pop posts are always so weird and surely make sense in Asia maybe but I'm always baffled in general by how clearly they don't have an international team looking after them properly in western markets (I also remember a very poorly translated press release and was like WTF - sorry for being anal, I just work in PR/social media so I'm stupidly riled up by petty format things and typos XD).
  6. It's tacked to the album as first track ^_^
  7. Intern or not it just shows shoddy confidentiality agreements and unprofessionalism, ultimately if an employee screws a client up it reflects bad on the employer so we assume that Geri/the girls have distanced themselves from Kennedy (but then again we have no evidence confirming this as neither Geri has released MOTM nor have GEM released any material. We know Geri has since recorded with the guy who produced her last 3 leaked tracks though, and that's not Kennedy).
  8. I'm actually seeing quite a few London-based people travelling to Dubai and back. A friend of mine has just been for work and he mentioned they stopped the mandatory quarantine from there. The Royal Variety is great promo but it's only aired later in December (luckily filmed on release week).

How is this the TITLE TRACK to BE if it's called Life Goes On? XD
  10. They have pre-recorded stuff from the promo week they did in September/October (whenever that was ;). Plus she's back in the UK soon (I believe the Royal Variety Show in Blackpool is filmed on Nov 29).
  11. Overload. It really never catches on me, despite the many listens both isolated and as part of the album flow.
  12. This is all well (and technically we've all got the song already), but to echo everyone - yes, this is all very randomly executed. And yes, I also don't see the point in releasing an extra video and still manage to talk over the (cut-down) song. What's the point? It's all like, so close but never getting there/giving me a proper reason to be anticipate the next episode unfortunately.
  13. It's all very random and too fast to process without going a bit 'wtf have I just watched' but I'm glad if this is a way for her to share new music. I don't expect the series to do much outside her circle of stans, but surely better than nothing at all, or see those songs been left on a shelf.
  14. Sometime i feel like it's about to burst in Born To Make You Happy XD
  15. Basic arrangement and much superior versions by Oasis and Leona kind of ruin it for me, but I guess there are no big expectations here. It's just very lazy when they cobble these things together for charity, and the format (1000 people singing a line each) has kind of lost its appeal, in my opinion.
  16. I agree with most of the above - it's a mix of the music itself, her attitude, the social media cringe, some embarrassing mishaps (the Brits, the Eurovision edited YouTube version), the lack of originality maybe (in the research of new sounds/feats). I think there is just something about her that comes across as tone-deaf and unauthentic. It would take a while to elaborate properly! But i also agree that while I'll forever be a Madonna fan who buys her albums and sees her live I'm not as excited by her next move as I was up to Hard Candy.
  17. According to the LA Times, Christina has parted ways with longtime manager Irving Azoff and signed with Roc Nation.
  18. Britney through her lawyer has requested an explanation regarding a fee increase of 260% requested by Britney's (just resigned) business manager Lou Taylor and paid by her father (with her money) without consulting her in 2019, a year in which Britney says she didn't work. It was also flagged that Lou previously used hundreds of thousands of Britney's dollars to foot her own bill for a legal battle agains some Britney fans who were (ironically) accusing her and Jamie of squandering Britney's money for personal use. ( ) From the documents exposed (and in this case an email from Sam) it also seems that Britney was planning to start work on a new album in 2019, or at least put together a production team. (As we know everything has since been halted, and Britney is not wishing to work nor perform at present, at least not while Jamie is involved).

  20. [Nah, at least until Covid she'd been touring with Aqua almost non-stop in the last few years, in Scandinavian countries, Australia and Canada (if I'm not wrong) - on their own but mainly at prides and big 90s tours]
  21. Obviously tone-deaf 'stans' aim at that, but her legion of toxic fans are her fans, and Britney's team is Britney's team. Britney, her mum and her lawyer are not challenging her need for a conservatorship. Documents show she wants her career and finances managed more impartially by an external company, which is fair to ask I think.
  22. Yes! Lene also wrote No Good Advice and You Freak Me Out in addition to We Wanna Party. She also recorded and included her version of Here We Go in her solo album, which was also previously a single by Moonbaby in 2000. It's mainly because of Xenomania being behind co-writing/production deck for all the above mentioned artists.
