  1. As said last time - I feel it's time for Escape to NOT have its lucky... escape. So that's the song my vote goes to.
  2. Yes it's so generic and by the numbers that I listened to it literally for a week during which I grew to like it and grew out of it.
  3. Has to be High Heels for me, Escape next. Both mediocre songs but the latter at least fits the album sound better. High Heels would have been the second to go after Self Love in my personal - they were the first ones I started skipping. Next I'll let go of will be Touch Me and Escape (and the first two singles just because I've been overlistening to them in the past months =) so I overall agree with the eliminations/clear least faves so far.
  4. Self Love - I see it as something that should have been relegated to the Sink The Pink tour as an ideal b-side to High Heels. It sticks out of the otherwise quite pleasantly homogeneous album (deluxe tracks and Escape included) for how basic it is.
  5. Self Love for me is the worst song of the 14 songs considered, really over simplistic and not fitting anywhere in the album.
  6. I wonder what up-to-date UK figures are for Hot.
  7. What I've been doing additionally these last couple of days was to just put the album on repeat on my Spotify (Premium) as background (or sometimes admittedly when I was leaving the house for an hour or two =p).
  8. Why not include High Heels, I was thinking? It is on the bonus CD and the Moto Blanco Remix is basically an improved version of a song that is very much part of this era - sonically, timing-wise, artwork-wise :) (just my thought ofc, but reckoned I would suggest) Who I Am - 8 Blame It on Me - 7.5 Good Enough - 7.5 Escape - 6 Overload - 6 Fearless (Feat. Nadia Rose) - 7 Here I Am - 7 Nowhere to Run - 7.5 In and Out of Love - 7 End of Everything - 6.5 Self Love - 4 Into You - 7.5 Touch Me - 6.5 High Heels (just in case :) ) - 5 (So it's a 6.6/10 for me on average - or exactly 7/10 if only considering the standard 10-track album)
  9. I saw vinyl being sold in-store as well.
  10. This. I was thinking earlier - WHO/WHY exactly would you buy or listen to a collection of over-covered songs sung by a TV/radio presenter? The British public really is surprising in its support of UK household names, regardless of what they do I guess. I just personally struggle to think why I would dedicate my time/money on such an unoriginal cash-in project. Mel C and Emma at least have a fanbase as singers, so I understand why My Happy Place would at least debut high on week 1. But this... *shrugs*
  11. I've listened to the (standard) album quite a few times now (and at different levels of drunkenness =p) and I regret to say that this is following her alternation of one great/one meh album trend for me =( As in NS, BI, TS, VOM being the amazing ones, and R, TT, S and now MC not doing much for me. Decent tracks: the 4 singles, Good Enough, Here I Am and Nowhere To Run (but none standing out other than WIA) Song I'm struggling to listen to again: Escape, Overload, End Of Everything, High Heels RMX (Despite owning the deluxe version I still haven't had found a way to listen to the bonus CD so can't talk about those 3 songs yet.) So it's a bit of a 6/10 for me. As I've over listened to first three singles, it leaves me with 4 songs to enjoy, but again nothing I'm dying to go back to unfortunately. This sounds a bit like VOM but one level down for me, both in terms of originality and lyrics.
  12. Double CD deluxe bought today!
  13. Bought by Deluxe from Fopp today and will be listening tonight for the first time! Has anyone found a way to listen to the CD2 tracks online/digitally? I have no CD reader in my flat or macBook and I'd like to listen to the whole thing at once tonight :(
  14. I'll be buying my deluxe in store tomorrow, but I have realised I have no cd reader :( so I do hope the bonus tracks are released digitally or ripped by fans quite quickly)
  15. Yes, delayed to this Friday :)

Yes their social messaging/hashtag style must be very Korean, which is probably why it comes across as quite bizarre to a western user. I remember a recent press release which also was in English but looked like it had never been proofread by a fluent speaker/copyrighter, so English is definitely not their team's forte :)

Yes, it's got new verses and a slightly slower tempo so it sounds slightly less like Unstoppable but the chorus is the same as P!nk's 'Courage'. Quite meh.

Hopefully not a cover of the song she wrote for P!nk with (almost) the same title (which also sounds incredibly similar to her Unstoppable lol)
  19. Absolutely agree with it being last position :kink:
  20. Same :/

  24. It's not on Spotify either :( Also not sure why leave out classic tracks and include the remix playing behind a dance interlude.
  25. Great show, but terrible tracklist choices. Why leave out classics (which would easily fit the capacity of a CD) to include the recording of the recording playing during a dance interlude?
