  1. Yes I also thought that, followed by Hot Hot and Hot Bit lol.
  2. I wish she danced less and sang more tbh. Of (just) three songs the only live vocals I can hear after watching full videos is just the bridge in Celebration.
  3. Been skeptical but tried giving a listen to everything the BEP have put out recently with very few songs saved on Spotify but this is really really bad. Had 'I Gotta Feeling' never been released, this could have done the job 13-14 years ago. Now, this being a song by a group that's been around 25 years and had great songs alone and with Fergie, it just sounds very dated, redundant and a very unimaginative watered-down version of the former (which is also still too recent and overplayed to get away with a carbon copy).

OK this is taking off pretty fast. She was #15 on Sunday and she's currently #4 in the midweeks.
  6. Lovely to see Mel with Victoria and their mothers celebrating the MBE in both girl's stories  Surely a Spice combo I had wanted to see in a picture together in a long while.
  7. This is very 'Out out' in a good way. Basic, 'do do do/la la la' generic tune borrowing from an old hit, but it slaps.
  8. To me this was a bit of a 'Britney at the VMAs 07' kind of performance.. it was just low-key a confirmation of how much of a caricature of herself Madge is nowadays. I almost can't believe what the razor-sharp, 40-year strong performer she was until not long ago ago has turned into =( it was painful to watch tbh, and I love Madonna/always hope to see her rise again.
  9. I did think about it this morning actually, he's not been in her stories for a while.
  10. I didn't realise a 7th US season started in March until a shocking human being was unmasked in the last episode (I haven't checked the previous episodes yet, but plan to do soon using alternative sources despite everything above).

    Exactly my thought.
  12. Same thoughts exactly. I think I'll forever be obsessed with her music and imprint in pop culture but it's now more respecting her past as a pioneer as opposed to her latest incarnations.
  13. Really not feeling any of this new material.
  14. Despite normally liking Neneh and Robyn, the song never did anything for me and unfortunately it's still the case. Good on them though.

From what I understand he released 16 tracks of the 22 announced, then swapped one for a remix of track1. So probably a work-in-progress kind of thing again.
  16. Love it.
  17. I thought the same. I had the OneRep song and the Jewel ft. Train in my playlist of songs to give a spin to this week and when it started I assumed it was Train.
  18. So frustrating the world chart only shares the top 10./relative sales. Do we know what figures are approx worldwide?
  19. Happy to see Goin' Down there but shocked she is skipping literally 20 years of solo career (2000-2020) and some beautiful songs in the process
  20. Madonna goes (IG) Live BY MADONNATRIBE · JANUARY 26, 2022 Madonna spent almost half an hour live on Instagram together with screenwriter Erin Wilson last night, talking about her ongoing biopic project and answering questions about new music and going on tour again. The updates Madonna shared about the biopic took the most part of the live: we learn that she’s tweaking the script but she’s also still pondering over whether it should be released as a long movie or a series – with one year per episode for example – because she has so much to tell. Madonna explained she wants to talk a lot about her childhood. She complained that people would sit for eight hours binging a series but not sit for an eight hour film. She said: “I’m curious to know would people rather watch a movie of my life like part 1, part 2, part 3 like the godfather 1, godfather 2, godfather 3 kind of thing or would they rather watch a series? So it’s like 1981 is one episode 1982, 1983 – I’m so curious how to present it, this story to people because there is so much.” She made it very clear she’s a film fan, though: “I love film, I’m a lover of film so it’s hard for me, it’s a conundrum.” One interesting bit was Madonna discussing the fans’ suggestions for a title. Blonde Ambition (with an e!), What it Feels Like for a Girl, Nobody Knows Me (which she loved a lot, trying to figure out of “have you seen Nobody Knows Me” would sound like), My Name Is Madonna, and Live to Tell were mentioned. Lucky Star (“this is not about luck”), Cherish and Like a Prayer didn’t impressed her much. Someone suggested Who’s That Girl and she liked it but then she was reminded it had been done before and she said “Oh really?” Madonna also explained she realised how time consuming the movie project is but she can’t wait to make new music so she’s wondering whether she could do it while working on the biopic. She’s working on something music related with others that is not the remix album or the Swae Lee collaboration. She will definitely go on a world tour again in stadiums and teased about being on stage again with Britney and re-enacting the VMAs kiss. At one point Erin told Madonna not to make music for a year and to just get the biopic done, which she seemed surprised at.
  21. Shouldn't the title say 27/05/22

Sad to hear, especially as it sounds like a bye for good. It must really be something money-related between Nicole and Robin and the consequent struggle power/right on the PCD brand. Odd how two members have a joint statement on socials, two are keeping quiet, Nicole and Robin are hardly saying anything new, just dropping hints
  23. Steps don't write their songs though, so royalties are not a factor there, I think?
  24. I have to say that, while I appreciate the effort to treat the fans with some longer cuts of the songs (and give the album another mini lease of life) I feel that this type of extended versions relying heavily on instrumental parts being added after each section of the song kinda take away the pace of most tracks and make them (to my ears) less enjoyable than the original, of which I mainly appreciate the punch-packed nature.
