Julia Michaels - Not In Chronological Order
Ah wow that's sad. I've really not been listening to radio nor kept an eye on how her last few songs performed in the chart so I live in a world of my own where All Your Exes is played (by myself :) quite a few times a say - and the album is decent - so this is a bit unexpected for me to not even dent the top 100.

Bebe Rexha - Better Mistakes
Sounded consistently good on first and second listen. The only song I think so far has not excited me much is On The Go. Love the title track.
-
Paloma Faith - Infinite Things
Sad that we got a video for such a good song and she's not it it =\

Madonna ● general discussion
She's also appearing in Snoop Dogg's new video 'Gang Signs', in the purple look she previewed a few weeks ago:

Mabel - Let Them Know

The Battle For Britney: Fans, Cash and a Conservatorship •
That's what I mean. The fact that she addresses these directly does sound like somebody else is writing them. Then once again I'm left wondering - what if it's actually her and the truth is still sad but somewhere more in the middle? :o I hope her addressing the court directly gives a bit of clarity about her actual position.

The Battle For Britney: Fans, Cash and a Conservatorship •
Once again I don't know what to think about Brit's reaction to the BBC doc (from Instagram): 2021 is definitely way better than 2020 but I never knew it was gonna be like THIS 😳😳😳 !!!! So many documentaries about me this year with other people's takes on my life ... what can I say … I’m deeply flattered !!!! These documentaries are so hypocritical … they criticize the media and then do the same thing 🤔🤔🤔????? Damn … I don’t know y’all but I’m thrilled to remind you all that although I've had some pretty tough times in my life ... I've had waaaayyyy more amazing times in my life and unfortunately my friends … I think the world is more interested in the negative 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ !!!! I mean … isn't this supposed to be a business and society about THE FUTURE 🤧🤧🤧 ???? Why highlight the most negative and traumatizing times in my life from forever ago ???? I mean DAMN … on a lighter note … this is a video of me dancing 💃💃💃 !!!! I have so many trips I'm looking forward to taking this summer and I can't wait to dance in different studios 👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️ !!!! I'm hoping to get a miniature koi pond in my backyard as well 🐠🐠🐠 !!!! I know I'm weird but hey … it's the little things you know ... and I'm so grateful for my beautiful backyard !!!! @betterhomesandgardens should put me on their cover ... I'm no @MarthaStewart that's for sure … but I will tell you I have the finest garden here in LA 🌺🌺🌺🌸🌸🌸🌼🌼🌼 !!!! I hope you're all living your best lives and shit or as @parishilton would say SLIVING!!! ... I know I am 💋💋💋!!!! PSSSS I don’t actually talk to Billy B AT ALL so I’m honestly very confused 😂😂😂 !!! This is my Instagram !!!! PSSSSS no paparazzi guy … I didn’t want you and your crew following me around !!!

Galantis, David Guetta & Little Mix - Heartbreak Anthem •
Is this now going to be single #30?
-
DJ Khaled - Khaled Khaled
I've not gone through any of this yet but I noticed he added a track feat. Cardi B last minute to the final tracklist, which wasn't in the initial back cover he posted. Also I've noticed that the bottom of the tracklist he credits his 2 toddlers, himself and Allah as the Executive Producers of the album :hithead:

The Battle For Britney: Fans, Cash and a Conservatorship •
Some parts are a bit random and a bit of a stretch but it's an interesting watch, as it covers a few points/sheds light on concerns that Framing Britney steered away from and that the GP should probably have a think about. Debatable people (e.g. Perez) are only on for a short segment and, as mentioned, they take accountability for their awfulness/contribution to her ultimate downfall - so it didn't bother me particularly.

Bebe Rexha - Better Mistakes
Gotta say I've really enjoyed all four songs released so far. Pop/rnb, dance, ballad. She has something for everyone :)

Geri Halliwell - 'Scream If You Wanna Go Faster'
And on Geri's stories, I saw

All I Know So Far: Setlist • Live Album
Surely a missed opportunity in term of tracklist? Only 16 songs, of which so many covers (and a speech..?). Looking forward to the new song and the film though.
-
Lana Del Rey - Blue Banisters • 8th album
My take is she's renamed the album and pushed it back slightly (mainly because she's so far posted the same picture as the cover, and the release dates are very close). However, I think (and I hope) that the cover is just a placeholder 'lol'.

DJ Khaled - Khaled Khaled
He's very cringe, but when he gets it right he's capable of sizeable bops.

The Circle US • Series 2
Not a fan of any characters so far tbh. Savannah was the worst person and Terilisha (apart from the ridiculous name) was better, but she wasn't very likeable with other contestant so could see her being the obvious third elimination. Agree with the general idea that Chloe is thick and monodimensional and that Courtney isn't half as smart as he thinks he is (so glad to see him close to elimination). Emily/Jack played a very stupid game and Lance/his PA didn't prove much smarter either (also this double elimination paired with a new character joining is starting to be obvious, even if the new entries ended up being two like in the UK version). I don't particularly care for River nor Trevor. Kath and Mitchell are ok - both quite fun, she seems switched on and he's hot.

Cheat Codes
So is this going to be the first part of a 2 part album? I also wonder if the pt. 1 will only be released digitally, as it's so soon..?

Emma Bunton • General Discussion
I don't think he's attacking neither Emma nor the LGBTQ+ community, I probably agree that the average gay is more interested in a 5-hit performance at an LGBTQ+ extravaganza festival than in a parenting book or a cover album (I'm saying this as I include myself in that, mainly cause I love Mighty Hoopla and would probably enjoy that more than her latest offering mentioned above, that's it). Not taking anything away from Emma's potential, her support of gays nor from the whole LGBTQ+ community :)

The Circle US • Series 2
So glad with the second elimination.

Emma Bunton • General Discussion
Well I guess work doesn't grow on trees, so good for her. Obviously I find it personally very reductive to see her release a cover album and flog baby parenting books/products, but not unexpected at this point.

Emma Bunton - 'A Girl Like Me'
See, with debut solo albums and albums released 20 years ago I struggle not to see them through rose-coloured glasses. I was 12, obsessed with anything Spice and buzzing every time they were announcing something solo, especially when it was the first time they were going at it alone with a full album (which at the time was quite a big thing). So no matter how rarely I go back to them in full now, these are songs I've listened to so many times, know the lyrics of, and have some sort of memory-linked undying enthusiasm even if now some sound objectively mediocre, cause they worked so well with me at the time. The only songs I felt were slightly less impressive at the time were Sunshine On A Rainy Day and Better Be Careful - even BT,DT and SWAFOM sounded good to me because of that early naughties pop-rnb feel to them and I was very into it at the time.
-
Emma Bunton - 'My Happy Place'
Yes, a bit of a missed opportunity and an underwhelming idea behind it. I loved the 2 new songs, and I'm happy with a couple of (inspired, not too obvious) covers as she's always included some in every record, but making it the whole point of the album was a bit uninspiring. Claire Richard had a similar opportunity off the back of some solo exposure and still managed to pull together an album of unreleased songs. Ideally, I would have kept I Wish I Could Love You More and Don't Call Me Baby as the odd cover songs peppered around an album made up of new tracks along the lines of the 4 songs I enjoyed :)

The Masked Singer US - Season 5
Since we're quite a few episodes into season 5 I thought I'd start a new topic just in case some other pop fiends are following TMS US and having a guess. Quite a joke of a season so far in terms of eliminations, but also a couple of interesting acts performing on stage. I have quite solid ideas as to who Russian Doll(s) and Black Swan are, but still quite confused as to who the others are, especially Robo-pine and Seashell. Anybody watching? B-)

Melanie C - 'Beautiful Intentions'
I LOVE rock chick Mel C so this one is a favourite. Haven't gone back to it as a whole for a while but I love every track, and YGY is one of her peaks ever (especially the orchestral version in the BA European single). Sad that it only got the attention it deserved through a quite mediocre add-on song but glad it reached decent traction.

Gwen Stefani - TBA
I'll take this as my proper version to listen to because the addition of Saweetie makes the song a proper song for me. Definitely gives it legs.
