Loved The Lost Boys for sheer comedy value, 30 Days of Night was awesome for the action/tension/pure enterainment, but I gotta agree with anyone who has mentioned Let The Right One in as the best - it was only afterwards that the effect of it really began to sink in. On first viewing i was a bit underwhelmed by what seemed like long, drawn out and almost boring 'arty farty' scenes where it seemed to take an age for anything to really happen, but as a whole the movie really leaves a lasting impression. I'm hoping this upcoming Hollywood remake does the original justice.

Is that REALLY the case? Hmm, don't think so. You forget that I was a Global Mod on CC, and I know your management very well. Simply put, CHC wants to get along and not have to be bothered by Buzzjack, but people here have made that very difficult. I'm asking you NOT to. Leave us alone. Four months ago, I would have loved for both sites to get along in harmony, and I really pushed for that. I see now that will never happen. So now I just want you to leave us in peace. But i suspect your management thrives on competition and loves having rivalry and arguments with other sites. I know exactly what you Admin and Mod forums are filled with, I've been there before.

So smug and condascending. That's the way to win friends and influence people, clearly.

You should read back what you've posted, as it shows you up for exactly how petty you are. You twisted everything I said and once again made false accusations about CHC then congratulated yourself on being so damn clever. Well done, you. It doesn't change how other sites view you. It doesn't change the truth about you. And it doesn't change the fact that if you carry on how you've been behaving with your posters and other sites, you'll ruin your reputation.

Well my weakness is that i have to talk things out til there's an understanding, even if someone else is just trying to tiewst or complicate matters, I agree. :lol: But I am in the right here, I'm certain of it. I wish i didn't have to press home my point, but e-motion seems to have willed it.

1) The rivalry has and always will be (it seems) instigated by Buzzjack and their obsession with being the biggest and busiest site. CHC dioes not take info from Buzzjack, FACT! Whether you believe that or not, I can't do anything about that. But you are WRONG, so STOP insinuating it. 2) Reasons for bannings or suspension are not posted for all and sundry to see, that is not courteous. 3) I saw your reasons for their suspension, and they were petty, as I've said already. 4) You have excellent relations with all sites BUT CHC and two other random sites? Why is that? It's not because of anything CHC has done AGAINST Buzzjack in the last few months. All of the pettiness has been directed at US (ie. Midweeks, Multicharts etc) 5) We have been (up til now) happy to share our info with everyone, but Buzzjack abused that. And you know it's true.

But you are neglecting the fact that e-motion has accused CHC of that very thing in this very thread. Never mind, though. I don't think anything I will say will change anything. I'll say no more.

Simply put, I'd like an end to the derogatory attitude and the accusatons of pilfering from BJ when CHC are guilty of no such thing. Plus an end to this imagined rivalry would be nice too.

Last Sunday's chart thread which he moved to the admin forum for "evaluation by independeyt parties" simply because a poster disagreed with him (then returned soon after). That's an example. But regardless, I don't want to get into petty arguments - my one request is that this rivalry bull$h!t stop NOW. It's tiresome and counterproductive.

I know, my apologies - but e-motion seems to be pressing the issue.

1) I have never seen a midweeks thread on CHC that was copied from BJ. Always sourced from other places. 2) People on CHC do not talk to their posters the way you personally do. You are very rude, patronising and intimidating. That's my impression, I can't speak for others. Posters on CHC do not treat posters who post both there and on BJ with the same disrespect. There's no doubt about that. 3) Jester knows why. 4) Did you not ban any CHC members today? I was fairly certain that you did. 5) I have explained our position - we have good relations with all other music forums, EXCEPT Buzzjack, and that is not our choice. If you are seriously saying it is a huge issue on Buzzjack, then you need to put things in perspective. Our Sunday chart info in the past has been taken at a moments notice, but that is no longer permitted. It should not be reproduced until after the Sunday xcharts are revealed (ie. 7pm). And i would argue with you that you not be so condescending and self-righteuous when you address other people. It puts you in a very bad light. You are attempting to make it appear that CHC has an issue with Bj, when the situation is in fact the total reverse. Stop the rivalry and stop the complete disrespect, and you'll find that all sites can exist in harmony.

Because like i have said, CHC does not glean ANY info from Buzzjack, SIMPLE AS. I've alreadly told you where we source our info from. You fail to understand that it is particulalry your attitude which rubs people up the wrong way - being patronising and attempting to sound superior because of your position is not the way to go. I cannot make this any clearer - CHC does not seek to compete with buzzjack, nor does it seek to damage Buzzjack in any way. But please examine how you view other sites and your attitude towards them - bigger is not always better. And there doesn't always have to be rivalry. The rivalry doesn't come from CHC, it originated here. I'd just as soon have nothing to do with it! If you respect other sites and don't treat them the way you do (I have a complete understanding of how you think of other sites) then there would be no problem. Building a site is a long process - you don't have to bulldoze other places to succeed, bear that in mind. And JESTER was not banned today, an Admin chose to suspend his account until the duration of the chart announcements, for reasons Jester I'm sure understands (whether he agrees with them or not) - he was not banned (unlike other CHC members in such a derogatory and spiteful way).

And that's the sort of spirit that is good to see - sharing info and not having rivalry is great, that leads to so much less hassle. :) EDITED for spelling.

I'm sorry, but do you have proof of this? I don't believe so. Anything that is posted on CHC is sourced from either Musicweek, Haven or Chartsplus, NOT Buzzjack. Please specifiy EXACTLY which material you are referring to. It does seem strange that so many other sites can get along whilst sharing information yet there always seems to be aggravation, rivalry and accusations from the Buzzjack end. I don't wish to get involved in any sort of commentary or comparisons between sites, but you seem to want to draw it out of me. Simply put, CHC is in existence to serve it's members and does not compete with other sites (in fact, it has reached out and developed strong relations with others, with the unfortunate exception of Buzzjack, but that is not our choice). Sadly it seems that certain posters on Buzzjack (not all, a small minority) have been attacking and spamming our site, trying to create friction and generat erivalry. It doesn't help with administrators and moderators on Buzzjack see fit to take aggressively competitive measures against other sites and posters who have membership of more than one site. It's petty and unnecessary. Time and again, I've attempted for CHC to get along happily without our site being the subject of attacks, insinuations of rivalry or competition with yourselves, yet it seems to be perpetuated here over and over again. I want to get one thing straight - CHC is not competition for Buzzjack, and not a single member of our site would dream of signing up to troll or spam Buzzjack. It's unfortunate the management here were aware that a Buzzjack poster had done that very thing on CHC and hadn't seen fit to alert a CHC admin. There are ways of being diplomatic, keeping good relations, and so forth. Let's also not forget the primary reason people come online to sites like this - it's to enjoy discussing common interests, not to bicker and create drama between other sites. Anyone who loses sight of that fact does so at their peril. -_-

Wel if that ever happens to be the case, then I'm sure people on CHC will do so, though I don't believe we've ever had occasion to use anything with your name on it. We do however have a great relationship with Haven and Chartsplus that works in tandem with each other, meaning that we all get along well and benefit each other mutually whilst pursuing common interests (and crediting each other). We don't take info from Buzzjack.

Specify and I'm sure other sites would accommodate. As far as Music Week Reports (and often early charts predictions) go, that's Haven for my site. As far as Charts Info goes, that's Chartsplus for my site. So if you are insinuating that my site takes info from here, you are mistaken. But perhaps you are referring to other sites, then that's okay. But yes, I understand what you mean - it IS very unpleasant to put work into features and providing info, only to have it taken at a moment's notice. EDITED for spelling.

That's not true, bud. The site I mainly post on gets it's info from Chartsplus and Haven, not here. It's wrong to make sweeping generalisations. Otherwise, Jester & Graham have done a great job at typing up the list in such a fast space of time, the occasional small typo is to be expected.

Yes, a 2nd season has been commissioned and will air in the US from Sep/Oct and likely be on ITV in early 2007.

Well exactly, so it wasn't a fake name, that's my point. Also, you have much more faith than i do in the writers. I don't believe they will follow this Libby plot through to any satisfactory conclusion.
