Lost • Season 2
It wasn't a fake name, Libby is a shortened version of Elizabeth. And I wouldn't count on Libby being featured very much (or at all) in flashbacks next season. The showrunners stated that they "hoped" to be able to do that next year, meaning that it might never happen.

Brokeback Mountain
It's not a movie for everybody, as the glacial pacing may put some off. Some might not even like romances. Some, like Penny, might not be able to connect with the characters. I absolutely loved it - it wasn't preachy or melodramatic, it was simply sublime. Here's an excerpt from a review that I read online, that I felt totally summed up the movie -

ONE of those films is in my Top 80, yes. The other missed out on a place in my final list. Both were superb, though...

#81 TITANIC (1997) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/titanic-poster01.jpg Tagline: A woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets Plot Outline: Fictional romantic tale of a rich girl and poor boy who meet on the ill-fated voyage of the 'unsinkable' ship. Though greatly derided by many nowadays (possibly as a backlash to it's enormous success), this is deservedly the biggest and most successful motion picture event in history. Yes, the dialogue sucked, there were loads of stock characters and historical innaccuracies, but despite all it's flaws, this was a movie that captured audiences all over the world. The fact that it was based on a true life disaster probably helped, and the entire second half of the movie was practically flawless in terms of direction. In retrospect, this is a visually impressive and very enjoyable (if flawed) movie, that will be entertaining people for decades to come. Oh, and both Kate Winslet and Kathy Bates are magnificent in it.

#82 DELIVERANCE (1972) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/deliverance.jpg Tagline: This is the weekend they didn't play golf. Plot Outline: Intent on seeing the Cahulawassee River before it's turned into one huge lake, outdoor fanatic Lewis Medlock takes his friends on a river-rafting trip they'll never forget into the dangerous American back-country. "You got a purty mouth" Those words will never bring anything else to mind but one thing once you've seen this horrific masterpiece. Often imitated, never outdone, this one will stick with you for a LONG time.

#83 U TURN (1997) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/u_turn2.jpg Tagline: Sex. Murder. Betrayal. Everything that makes life worth living. Plot Outline: A drifter (Penn) becomes entangled with a femme fatale (Lopez) and her husband (Nolte) after his car breaks down in their small Southwest town. This oft overlooked gem from Oliver Stone is a showcase of some of the finest talent around - Sean Penn, Billy Bob Thornton, Joaquin Pheonix and Claire Danes to name a few. You'll find yourself smiling along at the crappy hands that fate deals Sean Penn's character from one scene to the next.

#84 THE BASKETBALL DIARIES (1994) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/B00004TXIA.jpg Tagline: The true story of the death of innocence and the birth of an artist Plot Summary: Film adaptation of street tough Jim Carroll's epistle about his kaleidoscopic free fall into the harrowing world of drug addiction... Leonardo DiCaprio plays a blinder in this deeply engrossing and harrowing movie, a solid adaptation of the original published diaries of Jim Carroll, which make for an unfrogettable experience if you take the time to read....

#85 MAGNOLIA (1999) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/magnolia.jpg Tagline: Things fall down. People look up. And when it rains, it pours. Plot Outline: An epic mosaic of several interrelated characters in search of happiness, forgiveness, and meaning in the San Fernando Valley. This one is absolutely fanatastic, really rewarding and with incredible performances from a cast including William H. Macy, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Tom Cruise, Jason Robards and Julianne Moore - this succeeds where Crash tired to emulate and failed, there are no contrivances, preposterous dialogue, patronising messages or heavy handedness, just straightforward quality writing, directing and acting.

#86 BOYZ IN THE HOOD (1991) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/0767811070.jpg Tagline: Increase the peace Plot Outline: Saga of a group of childhood friends growing up in a Los Angeles ghetto. Cuba gooding has made a right mess of his career since (with the only exception being his Oscar winning turn in Jerry Maguire), but he was never better than in this deeply profound tale of people trying to better themselves in the most difficult of circumstances

#87 REAR WINDOW (1954) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/RearWindowfront.jpg Tagline: See It! - If your nerves can stand it. Plot Outline: A wheelchair bound photographer spies on his neighbours from his apartment window and becomes convinced one of them has committed murder. Another true edge of the seat classic from Hitchcock, this one sees Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly as their finest. It's so iconic that it's even been parodied in The Simpsons.

#88 GREASE (1978) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/olivianewton-john-grease.jpg Tagline: Grease is the word Plot Outline: Good girl Sandy and greaser Danny fell in love over the summer. But when they unexpectedly discover they're now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance? The only musical in the countdown, this one is an evergreen classic. The fact that it was made in the 70s and set in the 50s perhaps gives it that timeless quality, but this one withstands repeated viewings and always remains a gem. A true classic.

#89 THE WARRIORS (1979) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/B000059H1Z.jpg Tagline: They are 100,000 strong. Plot Outline: A gang called The Warriors are framed for killing a gang leader trying to unite all the gangs in the area. With other gangs gunning for them they must get back to the home turf of Coney Island... Alive. This movie just kicks ass - totally ****ing breathtaking, practically every moment is edge of the seat action as The Warriors fight for survival.

#90 AIRPLANE! (1980) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/B00004Y62W.jpg Tagline: What's slower than a speeding bullet, and able to hit tall buildings at a single bound? Plot Outline: An airplane crew takes ill. Surely the only person capable of landing the plane is an ex-pilot afraid to fly. But don't call him Shirley. The jokes in this one come so thick and fast, that you cannot help pissing yourself practically every couple of minutes. Leslie Neilson proved he had a gift for comedy in this movie, and has never looked back since.

#91 CHOCOLAT (2000) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/B00005K3OT.jpg Tagline: One Taste Is All It Takes Plot Outline: A woman and her daughter open a chocolate shop in a small French village that shakes up the rigid morality of the community. This is such a simplistic yet magical film, with huge amounts of gallic charm. Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp are dependably brilliant in this, with a great supporting cast.

#92 THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (1980) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/empirestrikesback_old.jpg Tagline: The Adventure Continues... Plot Outline: While Luke takes advanced Jedi training from Yoda, his friends are relentlessly pursued by Darth Vader as part of his plan to capture Luke. Forget the woeful hammy-acted and over-CGIed brainless recent installments in the franchise, the original trilogy is where it's at. These movies kicked ass, and this was my favourite of the bunch. I tend to have a preference for the darker aspects in storytelling, and things don't get much darker in trilogies than they do here. With a jawdropping cliffhanger that kept audiences waiting for 3 years for a resolution, this was George Lucas at his very finest. It's also the only one of the six movies to make the cut in my countdown.

#93 TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/t2-p.gif Tagline: Ten Years Ago. The Machines Who Rule The Future Sent An Unstoppable Terminator To Assassinate The Yet Unborn John Connor. They Failed. In 1991. The Machines Will Try Again. Plot Outline: A shape-shifting cyborg is sent back from the future to kill John Connor before he can grow up to lead the resistance; a protector is sent, too. Are rare example of a sequel that surpasses the original, this is a great thrill ride throughout. Arnie is perfectly cast in this.

#94 REBECCA (1940) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/p01.jpg Tagline: The shadow of this woman darkened their love. Plot Outline: When a naive young woman marries a rich widower, they settle in his gigantic mansion, where she finds the memory of the first wife maintaining a grip on her husband and the servants The first of a few from the master of suspense, Alfred Hitchcock. No matter how much time passes, his movies never lose their effect. Still as intense, suspenseful and compelling as I'm sure it was when it was first relaeased, this is well eorth a look for those who haven't seen it. Housekeeper Mrs Danvers is well creepy.

#95 FLATLINERS (1990) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/flatliners_1024x768.jpg Tagline: Some lines shouldn't be crossed. Plot Outline: Medical students bring themselves near death; their experiment begins to go awry. This was just a cool premise, and a genuinely creepy psychological thriller. Kevin Bacon, Kiefer Sutherland and Julia Roberts were great in this one.

#96 BEAUTIFUL GIRLS (1996) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/Johnny123/Beautiful_Girls.jpg Tagline: good times never seemed so good Plot Outline: A piano player at a crossroads in his life returns home to his friends and their own problems with life and love. This one is a fantastically written character peice, with top notch performances from all in the stellar cast including Uma Thurman, Timothy Hutton, Matt Dillon, Rosie O'Donnell, Martha Plimpton and Michael Rappaport. The standout of the entire movie was the then teenage Natalie Portman, who had also appeared in "Leon" at around the same time. She showed here that she was going to be an acting force to be reckoned with in the future, and already has gone on to greater things.
