I wasn't sure about Violet Hill on first listen but I have heard it several times on the radio now and I really like it. As others have said before it is quite different, but still the same in other ways too. Anyway radio down here in Australia are salivating over it. It is gonna be huge.

Good to see that most of the public comments with those photos are very supportive of Robbie . Yes he looks bigger but he could lose that in weeks if he puts his mind to it...but I think he is far from bothered at the moment. I am so happy that he has finally found love :heart: :dance: .

Just listened to this song for the first time and it is a bit of a disappointment :cry: . It is nothing special at all IMO and it just seems to go along in the same monotone..there are no interesting hooks to grab me at all :unsure: . Nowhere near as interesting as Hung up or Sorry imo. No doubt it will be huge though.

Well I am shocked too as it was all over the radio leading up to the release. I heard it several times a day for weeks, but now it seems it's not getting near as much airplay. Must be second single syndrome :( .

That was a really good performance, but the crowd just didn't have any energy which is a shame. I am liking Rihanna more with every song she brings out. Please Don't Stop the Music is a great little dance tune :dance: .

Yes he sounds great doesn't he. A really informative blog this time and it was nice to hear his thoughts on his music and plans for 2008/2009. Looking forward to whatever songs he releases on his site this year and can't wait for a new album in 2009...unless of course that "competitive urge" gets the better of him and we get it sooner lol. Its just nice to now whats happening :dance: ....even though a big part of me wishes it was this year...but oh well...I shall wait :D .

Great to see Robbie at number 2 in the airplay here in Oz. The frustating thing for me is what seemed to be a refusal to play stuff from Rudebox. My radio staion played the top 4 requested songs every afternoon and at the time She's Madonna was out it was number 1 every time I listened to the countdown...but would they play it any other time....NO :angry: and it soon vanished from the airwaves. Lovelight didn't last much longer and that sounded brilliant on the radio. His back catalogue is what got him to number 2....LMEY, Rock DJ, Better man, Angels, Monsoon, Feel, Come Undone, and Kids are regulars on the airwaves which is pretty impressive really .

Yes have a great Chrissie and new year to everyone and to Robbie of course. I am thrilled he has a special someone to share it with this year .

After hearing them both heaps yesterday I think I actually prefer In and out Of Love....very smooth . I love both of them though...real growers. Not quite hit material, but if he was giving those away as freebies and not saving them for albums I would strangle him.

I wouldn't worry too much about that actual sale figure down here in Oz as half of the major outlets do not count toward the ARIA chart....don't ask me why...I have no idea but it doesn't really give a true indication of how an album is performing saleswise. Sanity for instance are a major outlet and they just have ther own chart and she would have sold heaps through them. I think having a poor lead single didn't help either tbh.

Who cares what he looks like...they are holding hands . And is it me just me or does Robbie's bodyguard (is it Gary ?) have a touch of the Richard Gere's about him.

I was very surprised at the lowish sales for her comeback album, but with the lead up to Christmas it still could get there in the coming weeks. We don't seem to get midweeks here in Australia but I have no doubt it will be number 1 here. Its number 1 on itunes which is a good sign. Luckily she seems to have a lot of respect from the press (or am I mistaken?) so she shouldn't get slaughtered in the papers for not getting to number 1 (unlike another artist who did get to number 1 and was absolutely persecuted...but don't get me started lol).

I think knowing Robbie if he wasn't happy there is no way she would be around this long. He would have easily moved along to the next casual shag by now. I just think they are being very guarded...which is fine by me. Some of these celebs are all over each other for attention half the time. The fact that they aren't really flaunting themsleves in the medias face and have tried to keep it private for this long makes me think its the real thing. :cheer:....and I am thrilled if you can't tell :yahoo: .

Well I like her...but does it really matter what we think . They are obviously very happy together and if she makes him happy then she is fantastic in my book.

Cuz I can is all over the radio in Australia and I think I may be the only one who isn't that fussed on this song. I prefer I'm Not Dead...but with all the succes she is having in Oz she could easily release the whole album as singles :lol: It is such a great album :cheer: .
