  1. Yes they did come over here and did have fans...but nowhere near the dizzying heights of popularity they have in the UK or that Rob has here. I had just had my first baby so I wasn't that into the music scene at the time but I am sure bands like The Backstreet Boys were far more popular.
  2. Do we think take That will scoop the awards or not. I thought all of the talk would be about the Scissor Sisters album and single. If Rob isn't nominated for best album, best male and, in particular, best live act...I will be absolutely gutted. He deserves recognition after the amazing year he has had  .
  3. Take That were never that huge over here. Back For Good was successful...but I think that was about it. Haven't heard Patience on the radio at all or anything about them actually. Maybe it will be released later down the track...but to be honest...I m not that bothered :o .
  4. Glad that you like it Chris..its brilliant isn't it and seems to get better on every listen. Try and talk your friends into buying it...if Robbie won't promote it...we sure as hell will :yahoo:
  5. You are ging to have to click all day Twinkle ( don't forget the short cut way posted earlier ). Kylie is now at 69 %...seems they really want to make sure this time and the more votes there are the longer it will take to increase the percentage :arrr: . Good luck though .
  6. But its 10 pm down under guys :P so its allowed..especially after a long boring shift at work and no husband or kids in the house . Kylie is now at 68% and Robbie 31%...its a lost cause      I am going to take my 7 year old daughters attitude and say "I hate them" :o :arrr:
  7. How on earth are they doing it ???????? An hour ago when I checked Kylie was on 56% now she is up to 66%. How can it change that much in an hour. I am really starting to want to give up...but I am not going to. I have a glass of wine and I am ready for action. We have to try and get him as high as we can...34% looks awful  .
  8. He is way behind again :arrr: Get clicking again people...this is now a battle of who has the more dedicated fans  .
  9. We are going well Rob 48% Kylie 51% KEEP VOTING PEOPLE :)
  10. GOT IT :cheer: Thanks ICR  Have a busy day today bit will do some serious voting tonight.
  11. Sorry I am a dumbo  Do I click on Robbies name then alt left arrow or do I have to select robbie then VOTE then alt left arrow. I need step by step instructions  .
  12. Well they are cheating...thats how she keeps going up so quickly :arrr: . From a Kylie forum On Firefox : 1 - vote one time (maybe cookies must be diseabled) when the result window is open : 2 - ALT + left ARROW, the ENTER 3 - repeat 2 Anyone know what it all means so we can cheat in return. I spent hours getting him back up there yesterday and now I am back to where I started  .
  13. Jesus....how can they sell that many in one week. I have never been a TT fan so would never even contemplate buying it. As for those fans who haven't bought Rudebox...well that just does my head in. How can you all call yourself a loyal fan and not be itching to buy any new material...or maybe I am just more obsessed than I thought
  14. I have been voting heaps tonight and I am making slow progress Rob 44% and Kylie 53 %. Bloody Kylie fans :arrr: . Robbie needs us
  15. Please vote here http://www.2dayfm.com.au/ Click on the poll link at the bottom of the left hand column...its small writing. You can vote over and over. Robbie has been well n the lead but the Kylie fans have obviously banded together and have well and truly taken over in the space of an hour  . Lots of voting would be much appreciated .
  16. I am assuming those sales are overall sales of Beautiful World since its release...not albums sold in one week....thats impossible surely.
  17. See here - http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?...38&Item id=37 Rudebox is in their top ten albums of 2006! - at number 6 :cheer: Quote: Robbie Williams 'Rudebox' October An incredible and innovative pop album from a man formerly - and no doubt futurely - allowed only to record slow songs and ones which sound like bad Queen pastiches. And... http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?...39&Item id=37 Quote: ROBBIE TURNING IT ALL AROUND TO BE GOOD AGAIN AND SELLING TWELVE CDs IN THE PROCESS It was not Robbie Williams' fault that he chose to release the most creative album of his career at the same time as Take That released something full of ballads with Jason Orange singing about a boat. Rudebox' is the best album of Robbie's career, and while we don't have any figures in front of us (AT TIME OF GOING TO PRESS ETC) we imagine that even 'Intensive Care', which was $h!t on a stick, sold better. Thanks to Abbie at purerobbie and of course thanks popjustice :yahoo:
  18. I was up in the stands on the Sunday and a couple of people did leave early. One was a group of a few people with an older person who was very slow so I am guessing they wanted to beat the rush...but there certainly were not people streaming out :arrr: . Also when I stood in Sydney my hubby waited for me and said he saw a few people leaving early. There wouldn't be any event held anywhere where some people don't leave early. Some people have this ridiculous need to "beat the rush" instead of just being patient and going with the flow...why is everyone in such a bloody rush all the time...frustrates the hell out of me (ie a father-in-law who won't stay for the last 5 minutes of a football game with the scores locked..and as a result...miss a last second victory...but don't get me started on that  ) What I will say is that on all 4 nights the 99% of 60 000 people who did stay until the end were smiling and happy and singing our boys praises, after having had the time of their lives. That 3am article is just so ridiculous I can't even take it seriously enough to get upset over it. It is just laughable that they can get away with writing such drivel.
  19. What a great write up . Brilliant to see a sensible article from a respected source. Certainly put a smile on my face :D
  20. Yes there is nothing like front row Sparkle and I can proudly say I have done it twice now :yahoo: And it is very disconcerting having dead$h!tes around you which did spoil it a bit for me on Sunday night because it was an amazing show. The crowd were enjoying it...they were more clapping along and wriggling along in their seats watching him intently rather than going mental. Its not like they weren't interested...except for the moron who had to go and get beer every 15 minutes  . You would think with the worlds best performer in front of you and after spending $150 on a ticket you could do without the grog for at least 2 hours :arrr:
  21. Here's just a few of my better photos from the Sunday melbourne show http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Melbourne%20Photos/100_0896.jpg Having his coffee fix ::)...bless him http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Melbourne%20Photos/100_0888.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Melbourne%20Photos/100_0886.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Melbourne%20Photos/100_0885.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Melbourne%20Photos/100_0899.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Melbourne%20Photos/100_0884.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p291/suseo_photos/RW%20Melbourne%20Photos/100_0873.jpg
